They may find that instead the little people may begin to look at her "Let them eat cake" attitude with jaundiced eyes. What a contrast with Eleanor Roosevelt who was also a First Lady during a time of economic depression.

The long suffering Eleanor Roosevelt was trotted out in spite of the navy cross she carried. At least she always delivered her message with dignity and in good taste. The dress code in those days was far superior. Even the Progressives were far better educated than they are today. However, the message hasn’t changed much.
