70 Conservatives Allegedly Censor Digg
Conservative Hideout ^ | 8-7-10 | Matt

When I saw the headline, I assumed that the liberal members over there were caught, coordinating their efforts. My assumption was based on experience. There have been many times, particularly during the initial ClimateGate stories, that liberal members would come and bury comments. I would comment on a link, and a short time later, my comment would not be visible, as it had been buried dozens of times. One member in particular, is an AGW proponent, and will come to any link against the “established science,” and tell you how stupid you are. That member would usually be followed (in months past) by dozens of buries. That member even came to the link from Manhattan Infidel a couple of weeks ago. He was dead serious in attacking the Infidel’s well-crafted parody.

I was in for a surprise. Instead of an expose about liberal bias, the story was about a Conservative group called the Digg Patriots.

The numbers don't add up to me. Sounds like false flag, or flat out fraud.

Why would Digg allow this to continue unless they’ve made themselves a purposeful part of this scheme? (like a version of CBS, NBC, MSNBC, ABC etc spiking anything that helps conservatives):

“One bury brigade in particular is a conservative group that has become so organized and influential that they are able to bury over 90% of the articles by certain users and websites submitted within 1-3 hours, regardless of subject material. Literally thousands of stories have already been artificially removed from Digg due to this group. When a story is buried, it is removed from the upcoming section (where it is usually at for ~24 hours) and cannot reach the front page, so by doing this, this one group is removing the ability of the community as a whole to judge the merits or interest of these stories on their own (in essence: censoring content). This group is known as the Digg “Patriots”

Liberals do this all the time. They shut down speech, yet if conservatives even attempt to respond, it is “censorship.”

The double standard is pretty evident.

According to the author, all of them are still active on Digg. Digg must not have had a big problem with it.

I think you are on the right trail with the false flag.

Some of the urinalists from JOURN(OBAMA)LIST trying to get some paybacks?

If their concern is that DIGG is being ‘swayed’ by a group of conservatives, why is it that DIGG sure doesn’t seem conservative?

I think it’s a new ‘tactic’ of the left. (well, not really new).

Accuse conservatives of dominating every ‘popular’ website.

Twitter,FaceBook,MySpace, ME-ME-ME, here we come. Better watch out or we will get you!

Huffington Post? Daily kos?

I see stories posted by these sites get digged up in 45 mins to the front page.

Digg says it goes by the type of digger based on past diggs. I call bs on that and stopped going to digg.

I was a member of Digg Patriots. The story was picked up by the progressive media, and not once was anyone from the Digg Patriots questioned to give our side of the story.

As of today, four have closed their accounts at Digg because of the hateful attacks on the group, many which were half truths and lies.
