This is PRICELESS.

Why is it that people out in CA elect over and over again Representative Pete Stark? (D/CA). What he said about the USA Constitution, which makes me wonder if we are even in the next couple of years if we will EVEN have a United States of America. At the rate things are going with the take over of the auto, health, energy, and financial industries we could very much be on our way to having what national radio talk radio show host Mark Levin calls a “soft tyranny”. The skids have been greased.

Give the lady in this video CREDIT, she did her homework and came very much prepared to asked Rep. Stark the TOUGH QUESTIONS THAT NEED TO BE ASKED.

It’s interesting that the term “liberal” means the opposite of what it meant a few centuries ago.

Stark’s opinion is one held by a lot of liberals, including Ms. Kagan.

The only difference is that Stark is old and in a safe district and can be a lot more open about his opinions.

Didn’t Kagan suggest during questioning that the federal government has the right to dictate the number of servings of vegetables we could be required to eat, although she didn’t consider it a good idea?

Why is it that people out in CA elect over and over again Representative Pete Stark?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If we educate generations of citizens in socialist-funded, godless, government schools, we WILL ABSOLUTELY get generations of citizens that are godless socialists who look to government for redemption!!!

( Is a “duh” needed here?)

So?...If socialist, godless, government schools give us citizens who love godless socialism, what do you think PRIVATE CONSERVATIVE schools would give us?

Solution: SHUT DOWN government schools. Get our nation’s kids into private conservative schools.

No one with the given name of “Fortney” should be allowed to run for office.

I think Mark Levin is interviewing the lady that took the time to ask the hard questions of Rep. Stark.

As I commented elsewhere on this same story, Given commerce clause jurisprudence since the days of FDR, Stark is unfortunately correct.

Visit a library with a copy of the U.S. Code; take a copy of the Constitution with you. Select any volume of the code at random and open it to any page you like. Look at the law you’ve just found and then try to identify the provision in the Constitution which authorizes the federal government to exercise power in that area. In the vast majority of cases the only provision remotely likely to empower the feds will turn out to be the commerce clause. The exception has completely swallowed the tenth amendment rule.

The feds today would not hesitate to regulate your diet on the grounds that if you fart in South Dakota, the sweet smell of your flatulence will drift on the breeze over into Minnesota, empowering the federal government to control what you eat in order to regulate the smell and toxicity of your emissions.

The most telling piece of the video...the questioner remarks that Rep. Stark and people like him are destroying the nation. Through that, Stark simply nods knowingly and in agreement...

Un-American elitist gasbag... And still the electorate returns Stark and his ilk to the halls of Congress.

It’s time to take back the country.
