No we would have to have an interin govenment appointed by a joint session of Congress and the Supreme Court.Tere would be no executive branch involvement at the level of president.A military commander would fulfill that role for the time necessary..It would only be for about 16 months, and then we have a real election with real candidates.

They did nnot know what to do without a KING, they had always had one. So they formed a COngress andappointed functionaries intio the necessary positions , pending the election of a Congress in MA.
