Does anyone still think that our hard work is not paying off? Here we see a major player in America recognize Sharia for the threat that it is, and he calls for a Federal Law to ban it in all US Courts. The word is spreading, and if we keep up the pressure, victory will be ours!

Who is Newt Gingrich ?
I just got a call from that dipwad’s office trying to do some fund raising so he issue a press release or something.
If you are not being sarcastic, which I hope is the case, he is someone you should listen to on any number of issues. Usually when he walks into the room he is the smartest person there and the IQ of the room increases by a few point. Unlike our dear leader who is always the dumbest in the room and drops the IQ by many points when he enters.
Just some dude.
Gingrich drops skepticism on global warming
WASHINGTON -- In a Capitol Hill debate about global warming touted by its moderator as a "smackdown" between former House speaker Newt Gingrich and Senator John F. Kerry of Massachusetts, Gingrich praised Kerry's recently released book about environmentalism, acknowledged that global warming is real, and offered what amounted to an unexpected apology for his party's inaction on curtailing greenhouse gas emissions.
"I'm not going to stand up here and defend our failure to lead," said Gingrich, who is considering a run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2008 and plans to release a book in the fall burnishing his environmental credentials. "There has to be a green conservatism."
Yeah, let’s try to kill the messenger just because we don’t like him for some other reason.
Fatal flaw of conservatives - they expect 100% adherence with their individual positions on EVERYTHING.
Gingrich is 100% right on this, and I wish more people were saying it.
He’s a sellout. That’s why I don’t like him.
Whatever he is, he’s right on this. Louisiana has actually already banned sharia from its courtrooms, but it’s the only state to do so, to my knowledge. I think a Federal law specifically banning sharia from our courtrooms nationwide, at every level, would be a great thing. It’s already creeping in, in places like Detroit and other Muslim-heavy areas.
Here’s the video you mentioned but didn’t link:

Now folks can see it without visiting a blog!
Isn’t that cool?
Personally, I think visiting Chris’ blog is a good thing! He is performing a fantastic service for our country and the conservative movement and should be supported 100%.
So there.
Yes, finding videos and posting them on a blog is really ticking off Islam.
What a hero.
A very recent interview with Ayaan Hirsi Ali on ABC Australia - Lateline program about Islam & Muslims. I think it is excellent.
You can read the transcript and watch the video of her interview (video is in the sidebar of the link below):

There are plenty of good people to quote regarding Islam.
Gingrich isn’t one of them.
Gingrich might as well be wearing a burkha. In fact, next time he sits on the couch with Pelosi I think he’d look better in one.
I agree. Islaminaction is a great blog and Chris is doing great work keeping it going.
One thing I would emphasize in the linked ABC Australia link, post #14, is the point Ayaan Hirsi Ali makes about “Moderate Moslems” in the context of Islam itself.
It is well worth truly understanding & noting that point, including the history of the “Moslem Reformists” she mentions.
There are “No Moderate Moslems” in the context of Islam itself. Shi’ite or Sunni. But particularly, the Sunnis, Wahhabis, Salafis. Not because the latter are more “radical”, but because Political and “Spiritual” Islam are inseparable, and have always been.
Because of anthropogenic global warming and that water monopoly deal in Texas, Mr. Newt lost me a long time ago, but I have to admit that he’s right about this and makes some salient points and recommendations for action that make sense.
His shining a light on the state of our judiciary can lead to a correction of the debacle that it has become under leftist appointments.
None of that means I’d nominate him for the presidency. I bear grudges.
Thanks for the link, HG.
He’s making a very important point here that I haven’t seen anybody else make. It’s not simply about being opposed to Islam, but identifying and stopping Islam’s attempt to take over our system of law.
Remember, Kagan is actually a founding member of a Saudi-sponsored Harvard institute aimed at making sharia law accepted in the US as the equivalent of US law. This was something that barely came out during the hearings (during which she basically refused to answer any questions anyway). Unless there is solid opposition to this soon, it’s going to happen.
