Chris Matthews has pulled off the rare unassisted triple-play of inanity. On this evening's Hardball, he:
1. Argued that enforcing the Arizona immigration law would put police officers in danger because illegals caught in a stop would be under tremendous "moral pressure" to use violence to escape.
2. Repeatedly abused a Republican guest. For the sin of disagreeing with him on immigration law, Matthews variously slimed Arizona state Sen. Rick Murphy as a "B.S. artist," a "hopeless right-winger," and "not serious."
3. Most egregiously, claimed that deporting illegal immigrants from the US would constitute a "pogrom."

Off topic (Chrissie Tingles is a stupid pompous jerk) but IIRC, “pogrom” comes from the Russian, where “grom” means “thunder”. Pogroms were carried out by mounted Cossacks who rode in like thunder, burning and despoliating Jewish shtetls, while carrying out other atrocities against those who had the misfortune to have been born Jewish.
The longlived Soviet foreign minister Andrei Gromyko was often referred to as “grim Grom”, whose dour expression could darken a clear sky, it was said.

Libs like to paint immigrants as poor hardworking people who are being unfairly targeted. There may be some who fit in that category but there’s also:
1. Many crooks among that group and they’re hurting Americans and American’s property.
2. Even the majority of non-crooks aren’t helping this country, most of them support their families in Mexico and are exporting billions of U.S. dollars to the Mexican economy.
3. They didn’t accidentally stumble across the border, they knew they were breaking the law and that they would be sent back if caught. THEY KNEW THEY WERE BREAKING THE LAW!

This makes me think that before Obama’s term is over he is going to do whatever he can to pass amnesty, and to think that some posters choose to pick on Sarah for some comments she may or may not have made about the issue, when it is Obama and his party that will steamroll amnesty as they passed healthcare.
