I cannot believe this, that Shirley Sherrod, whom in a video that showed she "admitted" in the video that she discriminated against a farmer because he is white. This took place at a NAACP event, March of 2010. This video SHOWS THE NEED for the NAACP to PRACTICE what it preaches and and not become like folks who live in "glass houses" when it comes to the heated issue of "racism". This also includes to what happened back on November of 2008 when the New Black Panthers blocked the front entrance to the polling place in Philadelphia.

I don’t care if she helped 20 white farmers, her comments at that luncheon demonstrated a present day racism. Ie: the white farmer was trying to show he was superior to her and the fact she took the white farmer to one of “his own kind”. I don’t know what you do for a living, but if you deal with the public in any way, the next time an African American comes to you for any kind of assistance, see what happens when you tell him, “Hold on there a minute, pal, while I get you one of your own kind to help you”.

Beck said that she was actually speaking about how what she had done (the incident was apparently 20 years ago) was wrong and she was telling the story on herself. He said it was as if Fox found a video of him at an AA meeting saying (in regard to his past life) that he got drunk every night and passed out then fired him for that segment of video.
