Robert Gibbs, Obama's White House spokesman, had an interesting reaction today when he was asked point-blank about Obama's alleged use of a Connecticut social security number. We've got a clip of that, and right below that is a clip that explains the allegation (in somewhat dramatic fashion) - it's interesting that the identity theft allegations that sounded so outlandish to me when Dr. Orly and I first discussed them last year, are now being supported by people like Jerome Corsi of WorldNetDaily.

As far as I know, it’s perfectly fine to post our blogs here, butterdezillion. As a blogger, I have a tough time understanding the people who seem to troll FR in order to discourage conservative bloggers from posting here, because the whole spirit of their attitude seems antithetical to the purpose of FR. I try to post relevant and compelling content, and I enjoy and appreciate having a way to connect with like-minded people.

As a reader of FR, I like having access to so many good, conservative blogs with a bunch of stuff the MSM either ignores or mis-covers (is that a word?). I spend hours every day on FR linking to and reading many excellent blogs, and it concerns me that there’s a few people who seem to do nothing at all on FR but troll and discourage posters.

I think there is a very fair exchange that goes on between FR and bloggers. FR provides bloggers with a conservative forum and, by extension, traffic, and the bloggers provide FR with a lot of the content that keeps people like me reading here for hours every day.

I don’t know. That’s why I was asking. I’ve noticed the “blog pimping” comments and then when I went to the source, I noticed that the FReeper that posted the blog, was the blogger.

I wasn’t sure if there was another category for this or just BLOG.

It doesn’t bother me, for the most part what they have to say is interesting, but I would like them to say that it’s their blog. That’s all. It reminds me a little of that Vancouver Sun guy, who was on DU, posting his articles but not informing the DUers that he was the author. There was a couple of threads on this when his dual existence was exposed.

I don’t have a problem with it. I personally would like to know up front. That’s all.

Should have figured. A personality that is more concerned with getting a gotcha than with actually gaining useful information or engaging in intelligent arguments.

But to the topic at hand I find it interesting that Obama is having a harder time staying on message of late. They are more and more resorting to nasty comebacks and walk aways to avoid hard questions. They are abandoning even the facade of debate in exchange for a pure propaganda blast. And even that is failing as whiteness to the numerous other posts on the NAACP fracas. We joked about Gibbs being Baghdad Bob, but he is now appearing almost as disconnected from reality as Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf.
