Robert Gibbs, Obama's White House spokesman, had an interesting reaction today when he was asked point-blank about Obama's alleged use of a Connecticut social security number. We've got a clip of that, and right below that is a clip that explains the allegation (in somewhat dramatic fashion) - it's interesting that the identity theft allegations that sounded so outlandish to me when Dr. Orly and I first discussed them last year, are now being supported by people like Jerome Corsi of WorldNetDaily.

got a question for you. i’ve been noticing these now that FReepers are pointing out that writers of these blogs are posting them either as news or in “blogs”.
shouldn’t the writer of the blog (blog pimper) posting these as “Vanities” or is there some other catagory?
when i saw that was happening, usually after i read your posts, i wasn’t comfortable with the FReeper who posted the blog, because they haven’t come clean and saying it’s their blog, right out of the shoot. i’m not saying that they don’t have some good fodder, but it feels a little disingenuous not to claim ownership of the blog at the time of posting.
Quite unreal...I watch and listen and can’t believe what I’m seeing and hearing. How in God’s name is this president getting away with this and everything else? This is crazy...and almost no one cares. What will it take for the sheep to wake up? Folks, we need a miracle to happen if things can ever turn right-side up again.

Gibb’s a top advisor to the Prez, just like the WH chef. Must be a way around the budget on that job title.
I think a lot of people care. But the courts have told us we can’t do anything about it. Law enforcement refuses to do anything about it.
I think we need to light a fire underneath our Congress-critters and tell them they better GET law enforcement to do something about it or they’re done.
As I understand it, the lawsuits thus far have all been about the election and whether Obama could Constitutionally become president. I think at this point we have to file suits over his exercise of the presidential powers which is expressly forbidden to him in the 20th Amendment - because we know he “failed to qualify” by Jan 20, 2009.
The facts of his birth remain legally undetermined. Because his BC is amended the facts of his birth can only be LEGALLY determined when he presents that amended BC as evidence to a judicial or administrative person or body. He refuses.
There is not one soul in this nation who can LEGALLY tell us what age Barack Obama is, where he was born, or who his parents were - including Obama himself. The only way a person can LEGALLY state any of those facts is if the thing Obama has been fighting with all our taxpayer money and all his strength actually happens - the BC is presented as evidence.
He had until Jan 20, 2009 to get ‘er done. He failed. Buzz. Game’s over. He’s out. He needs to be physically ejected from the court. He can’t be in the game any more.
Why do think someone pointing out blog pimping bastards is annoying? Blog pimpers are cheats and dishonest and unethical. They are parasites sucking off a host (FR) for personal gain (web hits), and they don’t disclose when they should. I bet most of them don’t even contribute to FR financially.

In previous news conferences the rest of the journalists would all laugh and guffaw at Les’ questions. In this one, not so much. It was mostly Gibbs laughing. I hope it is a sign of things finally changing in the attitude of the press.
