Glenn Beck explains the dangers of Black Liberation Theology
The Collins Report ^ | July 18, 2010 | Suzanne Eovaldi, staff writer

When Barack Obama said right before he was elected that the U.S. was days away from fundamental change, he meant changing our Capitalist system's basis for growth from individual achievement to a collective salvation based on redistribution of our wealth.

And clearly, his executive power has achieved this control in just about every legislative agenda he has initiated.

Glenn Beck's analysis of the driving philosophy behind Obama's governance by far left ideology to pervert our country's founding principles is very revealing. Beck said the Liberation Theology theory of social justice instead of natural law is a "perversion of God (and is) dangerous." Anthony Bradley, a Beck guest, says this ideology of seeking to liberate the oppressed has infused the United States to its core, especially in its transforming young minds in our country's public school system.

James Cone, a founder of Black Liberation Theology, "refuses to accept (a) God who does not belong to the black community." Cone said, "Whites must give back what they took. . .give back your job or your money." Author Bradley said this in reality is an effort "to punish the oppressor;” to grab power.

Identifying what to control, linking the methods to Marxism, and then creating victims according to Beck are the Obama crowd's modus operandi for completely changing America's thrust of individual achievement and personal responsibility into a country of social justice built on a perversion of Christianity. BLT centers on the notion of collective salvation in direct conflict with the teachings of Jesus and individual salvation says Beck.

Incumbent upon the Progressives' takeover of the United States is their use of victimhood to exploit and foment minorities and to divide us along racial lines.By basing their actions on the teachings of failed Communism and Marxism, Beck says they....

Conservatives need to (aggressively) go after the public education system in America.

It needs to be recaptured from the left. Soon.

Or America is doomed.

This needs to be done. The scandalous scam called “tenure” should be the starting point. Then, start firing idealogues.

This cannot wait. Conservatives have surrendered this single most important battle, for over a generation now.

The biggest danger is that the POTUS is one of them.

I won't get into the God part of this mess, but there is no doubt in my mind that Barrack Hussein Obama has a philosophy of making the Honkey pay reparations , one way or another.

Or is that your point?

One thing is for sure. Whether he is successful at getting 'reparations' for the 'little folks', he is certainly GETTING HIS RIGHT NOW.

Glen Beck is right on. America is heading to a disaster and the momentum is so strong I fear will be impossible to stop. This communists takeover has been in the works in the Democratic Party for many years and King Obama just took advantage of the situation. We are heading for a dictatorship. The only thing I fear is that Beck is wrong about a peaceful transition back to a Constitutional America.

I think this argument is generally correct. Obama isn’t a European Socialist or Communist. He is a Sandinista.

“Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. 8Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, multiplying thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times.”

I for one am tired of our seed dying before it bears fruit.

Our purpose should NOT elect Republicans but to heal this country. You are confusing the spoon with the medicine.

I have been following this on Fox here in Australia. Some of the things Glenn has said have brought forth a spontaneous Amen from me - and we in Australia don’t do that sort of thing!

Agreed. When we get back in power (if the commies let us) we need to attack the roots of their power.

1. Repeal Obamacare.
2. End Fed opposition to school voucher programs - let states adopt them wherever they can to destroy the monopoly of teachers unions.
3. Aggressive review of the policies of lefty universities - end gov’t funding (where possible) of programs and research that are harmful or in direct contravention of US law (like people who try to run ROTC off campus).
4. Massive review of regulations to downsize/clarify/end the power of bureaucracies.
5. Shut down the Depts of Energy, HUD and HHS. Lay off the govt employees.
6. Promote the use of new media and internet news outlets to undercut and bypass the MSM.
7. Massive tort reform.
8. A flat tax.

Anybody got any other ideas to add to the list?

I don't think Beck is by any means convinced this will happen, but he is convinced that revival is the only way it will happen. I am afraid I agree. The move for the government to take over the media is well underway. Soon we will have a president for life, and you hear nothing from the RINO's in the senate.

I have absolutely no confidence in an honest election ever happening in the future and doubt most if not all of the elections since Kennedy-Nixon.

Oh a couple have said they will not vote for Kagen, no mention of filibuster, but we do get the same old line from Hatch, a president is entitled to his picks.

So good to see you here, hope that things are going well ‘down under’.

Tell me, do your conversations go as ours here down there? We all stay kind of mad all the time, seeing this one great nation going by the way side. The nation we are proud of, the leaders, don't have any respect for them. True, some can be blamed on the ‘elected’ ones who were suppose to be for us but the almighty dollar got in their way and hoping to change it to a more workable solution this next election.

Guess you can say I am kind of ‘down under’ under most of the other states, I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, sand, oil, you get the picture...

Maybe look at the Department of Education. What is it that they do that cannot be accomplished at the local level?

I didn’t see Beck on this (sorry to miss) so I went looking for info. Amazon has interesting reviews of J Cone’s books. My favorite:

“If this guy’s theory is valid, all “oppressed” people on this planet are entitled to create their own “religion” to cloak their racial attacks on some other race. Didn’t the Nazis say they were oppressed by the WWI allies and the Jews? If only they could have read this book first, they could have called their political party a religion instead. Maybe they coud have called it Nazi Liberation Theology.”
