The Mexican Mafia has threatened Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu with his life, ordering a “green light” to take him out for his support of Arizona’s new immigration law, SB 1070. A “green light” indicates that the assassin given the order must complete the murder or he will be killed himself, as will his family.
“I understand this threat, yet I will not run in fear or change my support for SB 1070 and my demands for President Obama to secure our border with 3,000 armed soldiers in Arizona and start building the fence again. I’m always armed and as every law enforcement member knows, we always have to be aware of our surroundings and possible threats,” he said.

If this man is killed, Obama will say it was because of his support for SB 1070. And that Enforcing immigration law is impossible.
It was the Obama administration who went to China and other foreign contries to publicly decry SB 1070. It was Obama himself who hosted the Mexican President and apologized for SB 1070. They have kindled the flames of hatred and the liberals sit back and watch with glee as their hated countrymen in America stand under threat of loss of life.
It is a sad time in America. We have elected the Marxists bent on destroying this once unique and special land.
If they were to somehow be successful in killing this courageous sheriff after the airing of this story........Arizona explodes.
This is an act of war and the US has every right to invade Mexico. We should. It is corrupt and will not change until we force them to. We must because until we do we will continue to have the lawless neighbor that invades our country.

Moreover, I seriously doubt the cartels are stupid enough to order the assassination of an American LEO.
That's the last thing they need - it would be much cheaper in the long run to find another sheriff who can be bribed.

Once upon a time, when American politicans still had a full set of b*lls, news such as this would have been the signal for armed incursions into Mexico and a settlement with force against force.
Now... well... whine, whine, whine, UN mealy mouth, sanctions, ACLU, and... nothing gets done.
It’s long past time for Jan Brewer to ask for volunteers to throw Mexican illegals out of Arizona. From those parts of the state now declared “Off Limits” to American citizens, to the border itself, armed citizens should be provided immunity from prosecution and a bounty should be placed on any and all illegals. All but gang members/drug runners would leave the state in a quick hurry. And 100,000 armed citizens would take them out as well. I’d be happy to join.
Perhaps. I'm not sold on that, however. When one looks at all the ill-conceived mutterings Obama has made since Jan. 2009, it's a possibility, IMO.

Judging by the number of assassinations, including those of government officials, in Mexico over the past year or two, I'd have to say their methods don't follow your logic. To a analytical mind, you'd be right. But that's not how they operate. They're scum, and act it out.
In Mexico it makes sense - they have more money and resources than any Mexican state government and they have a chance at controlling the situation politically as well.
Taking on the US government brings it to an entirely different level.
While this President may be a ditherer, if they act they would be guaranteeing that the next President wouldn't be.

Well, the best thing any third world toilet can do is get into a war with us- we rebuild them and give them lots of cash.
