This election we have a rare opportunity with a credible candidate who is not afraid to campaign in Greater Minnesota and who has a unique ability to connect with voters on a personal level. Margaret is politically savvy like few others. She has a great grassroots operation and will be a unique candidate on both accounts compared to past nominees. After years of third party candidates from the left spoiling elections, we will have an Independence Party candidate from the right (Tom Horner). And the GOP candidate is effectively a Tea Party candidate, Tom Emmer. If there has ever been a window for winning the governorship, it is now.

In 2010, Horner announced that he would run for Governor, seeking the endorsement of the Independence Party. Horner, who had previously identified as a Republican, said he was running because both DFL and Republican candidates had
become too extreme in their views.[2] Horner was endorsed by his former boss, Durenberger, as well as former congressman and gubernatorial candidate Tim Penny.

Curious how you don't mention that the "challenger from the right", in the Independence Party is a Republican in Name only who is to the left of Kelliher on taxes and spending or that Kelliher is facing a 3 way race to win the nomination of her party in the Sept Primary.
Thanks, I’ll add this pimp to my watch list.
IBTZ!
True.
But there are classes of pimpage.
Mostly I am offended by the video-embedders who do nothing
more than rip off someone’s video, post a teaser about it
and fail to provide a video link, forcing folks to visit
their lame blog.
This new pimp seems to be of the excerpter variety.
The is no reason for bloggers to excerpt from their
blogs other than trolling for hits.
Why the excerpt? Why not post the full content?
Durenberger is his boss. That explains it.
The cheese is kind of the color of the plastic seats in a bus station.
I don't like that kind of cheese.
