After all, the same accusation – with the races reversed - was made about George Bush and white people after hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast and the MSM treated the accusation seriously and with respect. In fact, Bush was accused of "terrorism" - blowing up the levees around New Orleans - so that blacks would be driven out. So why should we not ask if Lisa Jackson, whose focus is “environmental justice” not be suspected that her version of environmental justice demands that white people on the Gulf Coast should live on polluted shores, be deprived of jobs, driven from their homes and die earlier than normal as a way of getting even?
Come on MFM, begin asking the question. Why were extremely effective Dutch skimmers being denied an opportunity to help clean up the Gulf because they were not 100% effective in separating oil from water? This makes no sense at all from an environmental perspective.

Thanks for your thoughtful response. As you see, I have been a Freeper since 1998. I later became a blogger and have over 6700 posts in my blog. I have been accused of “pimping” my blog for financial reasons. The fact is that I get zero revenue from my blog. I run no ads and I do not use it to generate business for my primary business.
The main reason that I have not hung around to discuss my posts is because they stand on their own. I hope that others can go to sites I link to or in the case of original essays (like the one above) it provides as much food for thought as it it were a newspaper article.
The second reason is that I have a fairly busy day job and I don't have time to spend a lot of time on Internet chit-chat. Some others do and that's fine.
Last, regarding the links. I don't post all or even most of my essays on FR but I hope that if people come to my site they will stop to read some more.
Just to see if I am doing something unusual I have just clicked on the first seven articles posted on FR and six of them are excerpts. Are six out of seven posters here wrong?
For some reason, some people have decided that if you are a blogger, you don't get to do what six out of seven posters here are doing.
So the bottom line is that my blog is not for money and I will continue to share some of my content. I don't intend to be driven out of this forum by cyberstalkers. If some bloggers are polluting the site with junk I'm sorry. I am careful to add only things that I know have not been covered already. Most of the comments I have received from other Freepers have been very complimentary until this little fracas.

As has been explained, there are some sites that must be excerpted, but yours is not one of them.
In all this sturm und drang, you have not spent one second trying to see the other side of this argument. There is a reason for the PimpBusters' position.
