Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan is “not kosher”--meaning she is not fit to serve on the court--according to more than 850 Orthodox members of the Rabbinical Alliance of America. That's the term the rabbis used about Kagan in a press release issued Thursday, saying "Elena Kagan is not kosher. She is not fit to sit on this Court--or any court."

“Traditional” (religious or somewhat religious) Jews do not agree with this most “LIBERAL” of Judges. As a Jew she is not mainstream at all and she has stated that she very much champions Israeli Supreme Court judge Aaron Barack who, while a Legal genius was very destructive to the legal fabric of Israeli Democratic law. Judge Barack favored Palestinian terrorist rights at a critical time for Israel during the Intifada I and II. He showed mercy to those who killed Jews while showing contempt for their victims. If that is her world view then I hope she is rejected, outright.
Illyana Kaganovich merely follows in her Bolshevik predecessors.

And before someone gets on my case for using the Russian name, her grandfather was born a Lithuanian jew in 1932. I can’t find any familial references prior to this, so presumably Dr. Donald Kagan had his last name changed (as is understandable if it was the same surname as Lazar Kaganovich, the Wolf of the Kremlin.) This was a fairly common occurance. Interesting to note that Dr. Kagan had pretty significant liberal tendencies, but as he grew older moved more towards the conservative side.
And American Jews voted for obammy who hates Israel.
