Here is video of the custard shop manager who was called a smart-ass by Vice President Joe Biden telling Greta Van Susteren that Biden was pretty serious and wasnt very happy when he made the remark. Earlier, the shop manager had told Biden, "Lower our taxes."

That was pretty obvious.
If there is one identifying characteristic about the Democrats, it’s their conceit. They believe they are better than us and that we must accept that “fact.”
I think more people need to try and get under their skin, I love it.....He should have had a follow up or maybe punched him in the mouth.
I am wondering if there are any Democrats left that are not communists?
Being the administration's comic relief is painful and it gives a fella a short fuse. I would be willing to bet money on his crying to his wife before bed about folks poking fun at him.
"Honey, it is so hard being the brunt of all the jokes...and to think I used to be a U.S. Senator. I can't believe I gave that up for this."
Yep! It's an effing big deal to know you'll go down in history as a national joke!
It’s amazing how Progressives everywhere characterize
Sarah Palin as a moron yet still refer to all Progressives as brilliant, no matter what they do.
The electorate will fall for it and continue to elect those “brilliant” Progressives because Conservatives are “knuckle-dragging neanderthals”.
IMHO
keep
Maybe the owner is having enough trouble keeping up with the gestapo IRS's paper work and did not want to also incur the wrath of the imperial executive branch, much less alienate 50% of his customer base.
It's hard enough to stay in business for a shop owner without getting political.
....seems Biden has all sorts of problems where ever he goes, like a dark cloud he brings catastrophe...
Watch GE CEO Jim Campbell wing over and nose in during a Biden speech....

The manager should have made them pay for the custard cones AND he should have stuck to his guns on lowering taxes in a later interview.
The manager blew it.
Not sure about the fear of the IRS or other government agents, but he could have framed the “lower my taxes” argument as helping him to keep his prices down to his customer and his help earning more.
Bite me was probably pissed because he was corrected when he walked in to the Custard Shop and called it Ice Cream.
In any case I agree. Biden should have been told off in no uncertain terms.
Also, notice that Biden said "be a smartass all the time". How does he know the guy's a smartass all the time.
This is the same Biden that, during the campaign, claimed that paying taxes was “patriotic” - of course he was serious.
Side note - I wonder how many “patriotic” people voted for him and Obambi as compared to those that voted for his opponent...
From the perspective of a "dumbass", everyone else is a smartass all the time.
Not newsworthy. Not Cheney, ya know. There’s a special room in Hell reserved for the media.
Biden and his sons belong in jail for various corruption and theft of services counts.
But let’s look at it from Joe Biden’s vantage point. To Joe, Mr. Custard was merely a peon, there like the rest of the peon class (us) to enrichen the better class of people such as the Biden Family, and to provide the applause and ovations for him when he appears at public sporting events like the Stanley Cup playoffs recently.
When The great Biden entourage goes places, the peon class best get out of the way. Just shut up, follow all the many many laws the Biden class passes (which they themselves do not have to follow), and cough up all the wealth the Biden-class demands. It’s Joe’s and his family’s entitlement.
It is thus completely understandable why Joe was upset at the rude custard man!
