American politics is, at heart, an exercise that calls upon politicians to be great at human interaction. In North Korea, Kim Jong-il can afford to be distant as his countrymen/victims worship him like a belligerent, maniacal deity (Ares?). However, we have always liked elected officials whom we would want to grab a beer with;
1) Reagan -- what a great guy to shoot the breeze with while downing a California pale ale.
2) Bush I -- maybe not, thus a one-termer.
3) Clinton -- bad person, but great beer buddy. You'd probably end up with a hangover in Mexico, and with twin freshman from SMU named Trixie and Pixie.
4) Bush II -- although a recovering alcoholic, I'll bet he'd be a great guy to grab a protein shake with.
5) Obama -- more of a Chardonnay guy, and he'd certainly stick you with the bill.
Then there is Vice President Biden. Although he has been in retail politics for decades, he seemed unprepared for the hilarious quip made by a custard shop manager when Biden asked how much he owed for a cone of the tasty frozen treat.
"What do I owe you,” said Biden. The manager answered, “Lower our taxes and we’ll call it even.” Biden jokingly called the manager a “smart-ass,” telling him, “Why don’t you say something nice?”
Mr. Vice President, funny people willing to speak truth to power should be encouraged. The manager made a funny comment and you were rude. You are not our king and thus I would not want to grab the king of beer with you . . . . Budweiser....

Obiden is a douchebag and needs to be removed from office.
Bush I would be ENORMOUSLY interesting to listen to. Think of the stories that guy could tell.
I really think Biden is a high achieving “special” person.
Biden is just too old to “cut the custard”...too dumb, too.
And I’d expect Reagan to have a taste for a dark ale or a porter- none of that hoppy-perfumey pale-ale.
Biden wasn’t joking. He is a prick. Eating FREE ice cream and calling the guy that gave it to him a smartass, what class.
I didn’t see it that way. it seemed to me that he was just cutting up, and the store owner knew it. he was laughing when Biden was saying those things.
If you watch the video, Biden was anything but “jokingly” after the comment was made. He ignored the manager and turned away in a snit.

Biden believes most Americans are the “little people”; stupid and if they don’t support him, they’re a “smart-ass”.

But everybody seems to be missing the point. When dems make “smart-ass” comments to Americans, they’re ignored - but if a repub did that - it would be frontpage news for days.
Hmmmm ..?? Hasn’t anybody realized what’s going on ..?? If you’re a dem - you get a pass - no matter if you stain a dress or call citizens a “smart-ass”. But if you’re a repub .. you get “Dan-Quayled”.
It’s so obvious - I just can’t believe people still refuse to see it.
make no mistake about it, this is all by design.
But, this is Biden the foul mouth and quite the funny man.

So that means it’s time to take impeachment of BO off the table?
I'd have believed this.
I have given up on Illinois ever nominating a conservative. (let alone one ever winning) I view the Nevada senate race as a national election and have donated to Sharron Angle’s campaign in hope of changing congress and stopping this attack on my country.
