I was inspired by a talk shows discussion this week on whether President Obama is a better legislator or executive as President thus far. I believe that hes taken a strong role as a legislator, and struggled as an executive.
Going back through my notes from my American Presidency class, the President has four major functions. (1) Symbol head of state (2) Policy Advocate (3) Mediator Hes the only elected official with a national constituency and (4) Crisis Manager. I think he has been weak on two of the four.

A “strong role as a legislator...” Would that be on the 137 “present” votes, or his pro-infanticide record?
To: JennysCool
i think he is best at being “present and as an “impostor”
in other words...as a “BSer!”

Ears, makeup application, nasal cleansing, detailing the air vents on your Hummer, remove excess polish from the crease between the sole and the upper on you boots, trimming excess paint and glue while model making, taking out the larger clumps of stuff from your keyboard before you blast it, ....... come to think of it, you’re right.
WAAAAY too many to list.

Let’s face it!
If it weren’t for affirmative action, Barack Obama would be wearing a McDonald’s cap — or serving time for drug dealing.
