Several Senators have learned of a possible plan by the Obama Administration that would provide a mass Amnesty for the nation's 11-18 million illegal aliens. Led by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), eight Senators addressed a letter to the President asking for answers to questions about a plan that would allow DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to provide an amnesty if they can't secure enough votes for a bill in the Senate.
The letter that was sent to Pres. Obama earlier today asks the President for clarification on the use of deferred action or parole for illegal aliens. The executive actions are typically used in special cases and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but if 60 votes can't be secured in the Senate to pass a mass Amnesty, the Administration may use the discretionary actions as an alternative.

If they do get amnesty passed and we’re talking about 12 million new voters hitting the rolls on the eve of a major election, the polling stations are going to be utter chaos. He’ll turn this election into a farce.
It’s just an opinion but I think most of those illegals are voting already.
If they're voting now, once they're legal they'll be voting twice.

No one in the executive branch can give amnesty to aliens. The REAL issue is if the Repubs have the balls to call Obama on it.
If BO is going to rule by executive order, he has made congress even more useless. Their presence would not be needed...which is already happening.
This is all news to me ... that Napolitano can issue such an order. I'm guessing that her power (if it exists) would be limited to allowing people to stay here as non-voting residents. I find it very difficult to believe that she can make them citizens with the stroke of a pen.

The military should lead an all-out assault on Washington if amnesty is granted by Executive Order. Enough is enough!
That’s possible...after we identify the House members who will draft the articles, a majority who will pass them, and then a majority in the Senate to carry out the impeachment.
