Nothing is as galling as political hypocrisy. There is something so infuriating about a guilty man accusing others of his own transgression. Saul Alinsky saw it as a valuable tool: accuse your enemy of what you are doing.
Today, the White House tore into tone-deaf BP CEO Tony Hayward. Wait, aren't the tone-deaf a protected class? No matter, the White House attacked Hayward for attending a luxury yacht race during the ongoing oil spill in the Gulf. You're doing a heck of a job, Tony!
Then again, where was our Fearless Leader this weekend? Where was the President who claims that he falls asleep thinking of the oil spill and wakes up thinking of it? Where is the man whose own daughters implore him to fix the leak? Even his kids know he is just a big talker.
President Acorn was a a baseball game this weekend. Oh, and he played golf.
White House spokesman Bill Burton suggested that Hayward should use his yacht to help with the oil cleanup. But wait, since the boat is probably not American, wouldn't the union whores in the White House block the usage of Hayward's boat for cleanup? After all, that is why we do not have Danish or Canadian ships aiding us. President Obama would need to waive the Jones Act, which MIGHT cost him some of the $400 million unions spent to buy the 2008 election.
Perhaps if we could convince the President that the Gulf of Mexico is one of America's 57 states, or even a state of Mexico, he would see the political gain in involving non-union solutions.
To clarify: it is not ok for the shunted-aside CEO of BP to go to a yacht race, but it is ok for the President to take in a White Sox...

Obama is a racist. He does not care about white southerners (his enemy) and loves minorities, particularly criminal ones.
