D'Annunzio has apparently commissioned a poll of his own showing nearly the same results (TD - 38, HJ - 48), according to a press release that was read on WBT this evening.
Everything depends on turn-out, of course. If you live in the 8th and support Johnson, remember to get yourself and everyone you know to the polls. And if you live in the 8th and support D'Annunzio, then oops, I've just been told they've postponed the run-off indefinitely...

I ordinarily hate political hit pieces from the
Charlotte Observer, but sometimes the target provides his own ammo. D'Annunzio is a reverse-angle Jeremiah Wright, only nuttier. I'm sure Dems are rooting for him to win the primary, just as I took delight in Alvin Greene's win in the SC Dem Senate primary.
The lead article in today's Observer is worth a read:
