FLASH JUDGMENT: Obama's Speech Was A Disaster

If you watched (or read) The President's Oval Office speech to the nation, please let us know if you feel better.

Because our sense is that this went over like a ton of bricks, at least based on our reading of it and the flash reactions we've seen on Twitter.

Some of the details up top are fine: It's great that a ton of folks going to be deployed in the cleanup, and strongarming BP to set up a cleanup fund is probably a good move.

But the second half of the speech killed the strong opening, because it turned into just another pie-in-the-sky post-oil speech:

Everyone seems to be saying there was no there there. What I heard was specific enough IMO.

"We put men safely on the moon..."

We can safely land on a Marxist society in ten years -- now is the time.. if we have the courage to reach for it.

Obama is the biological/ideological child of the 1960s Marxist-Alinsky street/campus rabble.

Boy! they didn't just program Obama's mind they hardcoded it. There is NO way to modify his thinking feeeeeelings.

I didn't waste my time, I was rereading Sarah Palins book,

I was worried that his stupid speech would bump 2 hours of Hell's Kitchen. It didn't. In watching HK right now, I see Obuttmo in a similar situation:
1) America is the Kitchen
2) Obuttmo is woefully unprepared to "cook"

3) And the US Citizens are getting ready to scream, "GET OUT!"
