"Kristol's ideology reminds me a lot of Marxism. It's a theory that works only in an ideal world that doesn't actually exist. In Kristol's world, the US can muster the political will and economic might to build an enormous army akin to what we fielded in World War Two. He believes we can march that army into the heart of the middle east and impose our will on a country like Iran; that doing so would have no long term negative ramifications for our economy; and that any negative consequences to our standing in the world could be ignored because we are the all powerful hegemon. Of course none of that is true."
"Whether Iran counter-attacked or not, the consequences for our country would be almost entirely negative if we attacked them. There's no realistic scheme under which we could unleash the kind of overwhelming force Kristol suggests. So our limited efforts would only secure the power of those currently in charge in Tehran and they would crush any straggling remnants of the green revolution. It would give an excuse to other nations to ease up on sanctions in the interests of making money from trade with Iran. It would provide the justification for Iran to go really nuclear in the future and the means by which to do it."(continued)

“Just come out and say it, Andy: “It’s da Jooooos!”
Or this gem: “As you watch Iraq today veer between a reprise of brutal sectarian warfare and a political class utterly uninterested in actual democracy...”
Doesn’t he have them confused with his own Marxist PotuS?
Andy is looking forward to wearing the burka and being in some sweaty arab’s harem
I think we should send a postcard to Andrew and write "Palin" on it.
Hey Andrew.... She is coming to get you! BOOOOOOOOOO!
Whahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.............
This Sullivan puke has sure got it bad. His antisemitic rants have been growing more frequent.
The Torah is rather clear on sodomy.
Hence, his dislike.
Did I not read carefully, or is the entire Iraq War completely ignored in Sullivan’s brilliant comments?
I did not want to give the pervert a hit. Did he mention Neo Conssssssss? That is another way of leftists saying da jooooos.
Andy doesn`t seem to realize that his new lefty friends already love him for no longer being a Republican. He`s got the trifecta, he hates Bush, hates Palin, and he`s gay. Yethis twisted theories like this one.make it seem like he writes while keeping one eye on the Huffington Post crowd—`Hey guys, lookit what I just did, I called them Marxists, that`ll make them SO mad!` He`s like a naughty little British schoolboy who doesn`t realize that he`s already made the `cool` kids laugh once, but who keeps doing more elaborate stunts to hold the attention of his new `friends`.
Years ago I actually liked reading AS..I had forgotten about him altogether because he went so loony left.
I didn’t bother reading this either.
I didn`t read more than the quoted part—there`s no need. His frightening level of hatee and anger is unfortunately common in AIDS sufferers, and he is a sad case. The last couple of pieces of his I read were sad. He`s so insane with hatred for Sarah Palin especially that it`s pure torture to read.
