Rush has delivered many inspirational monologues but this ranks among the best. Not just because it was from the heart, but because it speaks to all of us at a higher level, one where we can appreciate the gifts that others bring even though we may see the world differently.
Well worth the time to watch.
Chances are most of the people in this room were conservative and look at the wonderful reception he recieved from them.....I doubt a conservative entertainer would recieve similar welcome from liberals......There were plenty of snarky comments on this site as well.....I live in an area where there are a lot of gays and they are always suprised to find that I am a Christian conservative.....I figure the best way to change hearts and minds is by treating people with respect and dignity.....
