Contrary to numerous personal cheap-shots and rumors floated by supporters of Nikki Haley's gubernatorial candidacy, the Blogland isn't out to get her. In fact, the Blogland has stuck up for her plenty in the past, nor did we jump on the scandal bandwagon. But when she's misleading voters about her record, burying the issues in shop-worn allegations of some sort of "Columbia establishment" being out to get her, it's time for the truth to be told.
There's a lot of difference between what Haley says, and what she's done, and the Blogland looks forward to presenting the evidence to support our view of Haley and our concern about her qualifications to serve as Governor.
Like John Kerry, Nikki Haley knows what it's like to vote for something, before voting against it, as evidenced by her voting record on the Obama (non)stimulus legislation, which has served as a key litmus test for fiscal conservative activists:
Voted FOR Barack Obamas Stimulus funding once. (H. 3560, Part IB, Passed: 108-8, Haley Voted Yea; South Carolina Journal Of The House Of Representatives, www.scstatehouse.gov, 3/9/09)
Voted FOR Barack Obamas Stimulus funding twice. (H. 3560, Second Reading, Passed: 71-43, Haley Voted Yea; South Carolina Journal Of The House Of Representatives, www.scstatehouse.gov , 3/10/09)
Only Switched her position on Obamas stimulus funding when she decided to run for Governor. (The State, 2/21/10)
Interesting stuff, and there will be more to come. Stay tuned ...

“I thought she resembled John Kerry...”
Cripes...now I have a long face, too...
As a state legislator, how was she able to vote for a Congressional bill?
The state voted on whether to take it or not.
You have mommy issues.
You have politician worship issues. You should probably go back to listening to yer mamma. Of course, she might slap you for being so stupid.
So, as a Pissant, what’s your recommendation?
No worship here, just can’t help but notice you have problems with women.
All I care about is the final vote on this issue.
The other votes, in reality, don’t count unless you can provide a consistent set of facts to support the contention that she is not as conservative as she states.
One abberation, maybe two, I am willing to accept, a pattern of events I cannot accept.
Actually, Haley voted on WHERE the stimulus money was to be spent, not for accepting it. This was brought up during one of the GOP debates a few weeks ago. Nikki has our support!
Gresham Barrett is just the man that South Carolina needs in these tough times.
You might want to mention this fact to pissant. He put up the thread.
Then again she might not, since she’s full of crap.

I find he usally defends the Liberal, using very subtle attacks against the conservative.
Like to see a single example of me defending a libtard. Or for that matter even a moderate.
You’re finally catching on. Barrett was an RANK IDIOT for supporting TARP.
If Barret is the alternative, how do they compare on other issues?
Not sure. But he’s got a 98 ACU rating, which would indicate he’s not some worthless hack like Haley’s people are trying to paint him. Though he did vote for the crap sammich.
You’ve defended RINO Huckabee quite a few times.
