Radio host Alex Jones, who believes that 9/11 was a U.S. government plot and inside job conspiracy, is featured in Chris Matthews Wednesday documentary on MSNBC as a leader of the New Right and the Tea Party movement. But Jones has absolutely nothing to do with the conservative or Tea Party movements.
In the advance promotional advertisements for the program, Jones is shown saying that the U.S. has entered the phase of deep tyranny. The promos make Jones appear to be the undisputed leader of the New Right and the Tea Party movement.
But in fact, a video shows Jones disrupting a Tea Party rally in Texas by shouting at organizers and speakers with a bullhorn. This performance woke up many Tea Party members to the real Jones agenda and he has been anathema to them ever since.
HARDBALL Looks at Conservative Movement, the MSNBC website says, referring to the Chris Matthews program which airs at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday.
But Jones is not and never has been a conservative. Jones has much more in common with the left than the right. He is, for example, a member of the 9/11 Truth Movement, as was Van Jones, the Obama official fired after evidence of his communist background began to surface. The 9/11 Truth Movement was originally designed to undercut evidence that Muslims were behind the attacks that killed almost 3,000 Americans. Leftists joined the movement and used it to undermine the Bush Administration drive for a military response to Islamic terrorism and its base of operations in the Middle East.

Jones has been on four times since Jan. 2009. One was because Noory was furious and demanded that Jones appear to explain the blaspheme of President Obama and defend himself.
You are not permitted to criticize The One on Noory's most listened-to night time show in the U.S.
.. though Noory seems to be relaxing the rule a little. Jones was on last week with the usual criticism of "the government." I think he referred to Obama once.. then quickly corrected himself and said President Obama. That's another Noory rule.. you must say President Obama.
I watched a few of Jesse Ventura’s expose’s on TV last year.
Suddenly realized that Alex Jones was his ‘authority’ for most of them.
The end.
Situation similar to when a bunch of liberal academics invited David Duke to represent Republicans in some college debate in California some years ago. When Duke ran for governor in Lousiania some years ago, the national Republican party actually urged voters to vote for the Democrat in the race, who was corrupt, over Duke. The people responsible for letting Duke run as a Republican should have been horsewhipped. But the damage was done, and many people connected Republicans with Duke and the KKK. Similarly, a truther like Jones is no friend of conservatives.
I always thought Alex Jones was like Wally George but not as funny.
” Not an issue since no one watches MSNBC or Matthews. “
The very first post nullifies mine.
Gotta love FReepers ;-)
Yes, anyone with an inkling of common sense could have seen that Obama was going to help Gold and endanger almost anything else. Thank you for this and other links you send.
So, my American Gold Eagle coins was a good investment, eh?
“MSNBC Works with Alex Jones to Discredit Tea Party Movement”
Um....is this bizzarro world?
Or a conspiracy theory.
Jones sees himself as a libertarian, and rejects being described as a right-winger.
On September 8, 2007, he was arrested while protesting at 6th Avenue and 48th Street in New York City. He was charged with operating a bullhorn without a permit. Two others were also cited for disorderly conduct when his group crashed a live television show featuring Geraldo Rivera. In an article, one of Jones’s fellow protesters said “It was ... guerilla information warfare.”
As long as the Tea Party members continue to believe in their values/constitution, these jerks can make all the noise they want... they will lose, we will win, period.
Gold will continue to rise until October or November. Leftist power is a walking gold advertisment.
Wasn’t gold once seized by the US government? You might consider contingency plans.
Gold and silver are only part of my holdings... >:-}
