Jones is a Retard with a capital R. OF course, that means he's still a shade brighter than Chrissy.

I have seen Chrissy’s commercials for this and each time my blood boils, as it does for anything MSNBC promotes. That dumb Rachel said the other night that Fox News destroyed ACORN!

Jones has absolutely nothing to do with the conservative or Tea Party movements.

Correct. He's one of the leaders of the "everything is Israel's fault" movements. ...which makes him a natural for MSNBC. ...especially Matthews' show.

It’s not the “new Right.” It’s mainly long-time conservatives finally alarmed into action by the direction the new Left (read Demonrats) is hurtling this nation.

"....But Jones has absolutely nothing to do with the conservative or Tea Party movements."

But that doesn't stop Chrissy who knows Jones is a nut cake at best.

If they knew anything about the Tea Party movement they would know that it neither has, wants nor needs leaders. The Tea Party movement is simply a group of individuals, each of whom fears for their children’s future given the unsustainable debt we are racking up and is angry at our elected officials because they have violated the sacred trust of representative government.

There are prominent people in the movement - Beck, Bachmann, Palin, Demint. But there no “Tea Party leaders”. The individuals have formed into thousands of local groups and these have leaders. Usually people who didn’t ask for the job. This structure makes the movement extremely robust and powerful and impossible to destroy.

The Left, like Matthews, want a face they can paint as representing the entire movement so they can discredit that person, believing that will discredit the movement. The great thing is that it doesn’t work that way. Tea Party members don’t give a damn who Matthews or anyone else is talking to or trying to destroy. We just keep on working.

But Jones is not and never has been a conservative. Jones has much more in common with the left than the right.

Ditto that. But ... Alex Jones has won several awards for the most godawful, unnavigable, non-sensical, POS websites in the history of the internet.

They like to create nicknames to disparage the Tea Party.

New nickname for Hardball — Turdball.

The game is Divide and Conquer, and the Right is losing.

Jones' positions on many issues, such as Israel and 9/11, are repugnant, but he interviews some good people, and he provides a lot of solid, verified information that is not available in the MSM, or even here on Free Republic.

Remember Orlin Grabbe? Lots of conservatives dismissed his rantings, but most of it was born out by later disclosures.

Given the state of the media, we have to get our information from wherever and whomever we can. It's up to us to cross check that information and not take everything we read as fact.

Jones allowed the MSNBC interview, knowing full well they would distort his views. According to him, they didn't use any of his actual comments. The whole thing was edited and sculpted to shape opinion and further divide the voters who stand ready to boot the Democrats out of Congress in November.

I'm amazed that the readers on this thread would so easily fall into their trap.

I'm probably the only one here who has met and talked with Alex Jones.

Many years ago, he was strictly against the police state that he saw coming. Then...... one day, he went off the deep end.

He saw an avenue to become famous/infamous and he took it. I'm sure he doesn't see what a fool he's making of himself IMHO.
