...Carol Fowler - she's married to Don Fowler, former Chair of the DNC Services Corporation - and her dupe-in-crime, Senator Clyburn, seemed shocked that this candidate they find to be so inappropriate to the D brand could have won their spot for U.S. Senate on the November ballot, right? But that makes no sense. Know why? (You are going to love this next part.)
Because in SC, in order to vie for a position as the nominee for the party; the candidate must register for the primary directly through the party! Yep; Mr. Greene filed the required paperwork with the DPSC and handed over the $10,400 filing fee directly to them. The SCDP then forwarded his name, along with his filing fee, to election officials at the SC Election Commission("SCEC") to get them to print his name next to the D on the primary ballot. And, presumably, as required by state law, someone from the DPSC swore he was or at the time of the election would be eligible for the job! http://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t07c011.htm
HA HA HA HA HA! I'll bet anything Carol Fowler wishes she'd done a better job of vetting this candidate!...

I intentionally left out references to Mr. Greene’s military service, mainly because the natural focus of the piece kept coming back to vetting; but also because I was unable to conclude definitively the facts about his service. And I would hate to misrepresent a person’s military service.
Poor guy; how could the DPSC not have known? (Of course, this does not let SC voters who voted for him off the hook, either!)
Please, I did it again! The word I wrote in the title is misspelled. “CAROLINE” should read, “CAROLINA.”
Can you please change that final “E” to an “A”?
Thank you very much.
I wonder what sort of policy expert they expect him to become once he’s in the Senate...
For some reason, the word kakistocracy keeps coming to mind...
Actually, to many of those who voted for him he may seem to be a MENSA candidate.
I intentionally did not focus on Mr. Greene’s credentials as a candidate but rather on the ‘vetting process’ that put his name on the ballot. Because this is where the real hot story is; and the sooner we get that word out, the sooner SC AG McMaster will investigate the citizen complaints of election fraud in the 2008 election cycle against the DPSC et al., filed with his office by the outraged citizens of the Palmetto State.
I think you have to ping Admin Moderator to have changes made.
Greene is just a typical Democrat office seeker. The party is filled with perverts, criminals, mental rejects and idiots. Witness Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Frank, Blago et al. They all look alike to me.
As I have stated earlier, I tried not to focus too much on the candidate. Obviously, several aspects of this story merited attention. But my main goal is to ‘out’ the fact, no one is vetting anyone. So how can anyone say with certainty, BO is a NBC? Especially when those D’s who Certified to state election officials he was, refuse to reveal on what documentary basis they were able to ascertain beforehand, this was true?
Thank you, jellybean. I have no idea how or why but, my typo was corrected. Thank you, Administrator.
(Sorry this reply took so long.)
The process required to register for a slot on a state ballot is different depending on such factors as whether the candidate seeks to represent a major political party; whether the registration is accomplished directly by the candidate or through the party; or which office the candidate seeks.
