Just watched an interview with international attorney Michael Griffith describing the Peruvian prison system. Definitely not pretty...

I am betting that Joran’s connections will get him extradited to Aruba for “trial” and he will spend his remaining days in a more luxurious quasi prison
This kid’s seamy activities and protection to date must have major VIP players involved, although he may meet a “suicide” or “accident” in Aruba since he is a dangerous risk taking hi profile liability to the criminals running the enterprises he serves

In the last interview Greta had with him in Thailand he stated he had become estranged from his parents. He was no longer in any contact with him.
However, there was also a wiretap phone conversation between Joran and his father where his father made reference to “admitting to human trafficing” would cause major problems to the family.
I always believed Holloway was dead, but now I believe there was a possiblity that she was sold into slavery. Apparently it happens all the time.
That's the inmates job. I heard that there will be prisoners lined up to slit his throat for $50.
I saw a program called "locked up abroad" of that prison in Peru". Many inmates are allowed to carry guns.
A buddy of mine got arrested in Costa Rica for shooting and killing a guy who was trying to rob him.
He finally got out and away to the US. He described it as a battle of bribes. Here, you work your way up through the courts. There you work your way up the legal system with money and influence.
He said that’s just the way it is all across Central and South America.
I believe that no matter how much money is left for Van Der Sloot, the victim’s father will be able to trump them.
Joran will meet the velociraptors of the Peru prison.
I doubt that Greta is happy about this latest turn in a horror story that seems to have no ending at all for the Halloway’s.
If you don’t have any interest in this murder, why bash Greta?
Story is that the FBI lost Joran following the taping of his accepting a cash reward for information on Natalie’s whereabouts.
Seems they also lost the Times Square bomber for a couple of days.

Way way way back when......Whorealdo insisted that Natalie was sold into slavery and rushed off the Island.

This is justice.
He has apparently also been a slaver in Thailand, “recruiting” women for the sex trade. No telling how much pain, suffering and death van der Sloot has caused.
It’s possible that Joran (and his knuckle dragging friends) got to “sample the wares” of girls he cultivated in the casinos who were drugged, gang raped(perhaps videotaped) then snuffed, or sold... but something went wrong with Natalee, perhaps a drug/alcohol overdose. I think it would be tougher to make a middle class American tourist girl disappear into living slavery, than a Thai prostitute
I still think his escape from all this for the past 5 years is way beyond coincidental and he is under protection of international crime syndicate-we’ll see if they have reach into Peru

That may be, but we should - at the very least - pray for him that he will sincerely repent. No matter what he has done his soul is of infinite value to God.

And I’m betting we could find out more about Van der Sloot’s background than we can about Obama’s.

He certainly seemed to travel all around the world.
On another note I read that he killed the family dog when he was a kid. This is why he was in counselling as a teenager. I do not know if this is internet rumor. However, it is typical of sociopathic childhood behavior.
As for Natalee and her family I sincerely hope they can find out what happened to her so that they can find some peace. God rest her soul.
In the NT, you will find a number of references regarding people “getting what they deserve” which are unmixed with appeals or hopes for mercy.

I don’t care if they give him a 5 year sentence.......as long as every day is worse than the day before.
Greta for the most part does very good solid interviews and she approaches a variety of subjects... I find her refreshingly objective at least in the interviews.....now Nancy Grace is another story.....
if he gets a lower murder charge, he could be out in a few years....
and then again, the other prisoners might make him their leader...he has money and so does his family...if he keeps the prisoners in good food and cigs, they might let him stick around....
