Two houses both alike in dignity
As time, lies, and his fathers influence slithered by, it became painfully obvious that Joran was guilty as hell (just think O.J. Simpson or Teddy Kennedy). Many believe that the only thing that kept Joran out of jail was his daddys influence...
Once again young Van der Sloot murders a young woman. But this time, the role of Important Father has swung 180º. Papa Van der Sloot is dead, and the father of the murdered victim (Stephany Flores Ramirez) is none other than Ricardo Flores, a retired race car driver, powerful businessman, and twice Peruvian presidential candidate. Just as before, Joran Van der Sloots fate lies in the hands of an influential paternal figure, but this time Joran isnt smirking.

My personal experience with Peruvians has been wonderful. Granted, they are all living here, legally, hard working, law abiding citizens. I found them to be kind, caring and hilarious when pronouncing words starting with letter “j” like “jellow mustard”. Some years back there was a young kid, still in high school, working part time in our office. He came running into my office one day, all panicky, uttering “we got a paper yam and I cannot fix it”. Took me a few moments to figure out he meant to say “paper jam”. The cutest thing ever!!!! :) I am still amused by it today (obviously!)
Watched Greta’s interview with him in 2008, he said he sold Natalee to a white slave trader and his father knew. He had tapped conversations with his dad who was complicit. The guy was as dirty as the son. Apples don’t fall far from the trees.
Joran is an over-privalaged brat....he probably couldn’t stand not having money and thought it was “RIGHT” to have money and all the good things in life.
I hope the little brat enjoys what’s comming to him in that Peruvian Prison.....
Considering what the dad knew and did to get Joran off in Aruba....I’d say the POS didn’t fall far from the A**hole...
I’m not saying she is to blame or that she isn’t to blame. I’m saying between the father and joran...she was duped totally. I feel sorry for her becuase I believe she truly thought he was innocent. Now she will realize that he wasn’t and she will go through all of this again. Her son and his father were both cut from the same material “no good.” My heart breaks for Mrs. Holloway and for this woman too. They are both mothers who loved their children. It’s sad all around but don’t get me wrong...Joran will pay and I’m sure his father has paid already. That is justice.
Yep. Teach the kids the RIGHT thing to do no matter the consequences.
true dat, and he deserves every milligram of pain that he feels before he dies for the pain that he put both of these young ladies’ loved ones through.
“My heart breaks for Mrs. Holloway and for this woman too. They are both mothers who loved their children.”
There is no “pain” equivalency between the mother of the murderer and the mothers of the victims. You might consider practicing selective sympathy or at least proportional sympathy.
I read somewhere, that Joran ruled the ‘Roost” at home. He had a temper and his family was afraid of him. I guess the father settled him down by letting him gamble and screw around with the “ganstas”. Karma Baby...Doncha love it!
QUESTION: Van der sloot states he went for coffee and when returning found her on his computer. Is there 24 hr camera footage that caught this? Was the door to his room filmed without break?
Never heard that but...doesn’t surprise me. Seems he led quite an “adult” life for only 17 years old. Probably never had a real job in his life.
