The Pope and numerous other Christian leaders have done the right thing, and have taken a stand for their Christian brothers and sisters, that are suffering under Islamic rule. There is growing list of Christians that are speaking out on this issue. Some of them are the Chaldean Catholic Archbishop Louis Sako of Kirkuk, Dr. Terry Jones, the Senior Pastor of the Dove World Outreach Center, Reza Safa who a is pastor of the Fishermens House Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Todd Weston, pastor of River of Life Assembly of God, and Reverend Franklin Graham. This is not about religion to me, this is about preserving freedom, but we do need leaders of all religions to band together and take a stand against Islam. This is encouraging.

Nothing like being 1000 years too late! But glad someone finally noticed. Religious discrimination is wrong everywhere, including the Muslim world.
Now we need congressmen to follow the Pope’s lead.
C’mom you guys, damn the MSM, CAIR, and ACLU, full speed ahead.
Did the Pope say anything about the Copts?
Christian Leaders Take a Swing at Islam....
I hope they make this a part of their regular workout!
It is time to stand up!
No more PC silence!
Thank you for risking your life writing a blog.
PC silence=death of Western Civilization.
bump to that
They need to swing harder, war has been declared against all of us.
“NICOSIA, Cyprus In a document presented here on Sunday by Pope Benedict XVI, bishops from across the Middle East called on Christians to become a dynamic minority in a conflict-ridden region and attributed their declining population here to instability caused by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the war in Iraq and unrest in Lebanon.”
“It also lamented the rise of ‘political Islam,’ and said Christians suffered in countries where Muslims often ‘make no distinction between religion and politics.’
The Pope. Please, for the sake of homesty, report this for what it is. This is political correxrness at its most dishonest.
There is no distinction between political and religious islam, and the Pope darn well knows it.Their “instabilty” is caused by islam either murdering Christians or focibly converting them and the pope has NO credibility on this issue whatsoever.
If the palestinian-Israeli conflict did not exist, there would be NO Christians left in the region to worry about because NO one would protect them or their churches. This is his moral dilemma and he proves himself immoral by taking such a stance. All this does is blame the Jews and absolve himself. Period.
