This is the update to my My Challenge to Alan Colmes article. After I put that post together, I sent it to Colmes along with a friend request on Facebook. He wrote me back to thank me for the friend request, but did not respond to this email in which I challenged him to a debate on Islam. Mr. Colmes,
I just saw a video where you stated that there is no such thing as radical Islam, and also that Islam is not the problem. Do you care to back your statement up in a debate? If so befriend me, and head to my wall.
My Challenge to Alan Colmes
Thanks,
Christopher
Here is our exchange on Facebook today.

Either stupid, or a lying POS. Neither are good.
LOL!
No, you didn't, but I'm blaming you anyway.
This is a test...
5.56mm
You could be right, but he took the time to respond to three emails, then when I mentioned the debate he was done.
Was he ever?
Miller was wrong here, because Colmes said that what Muslims are doing today is not Islam.
I thought I broke the internet for sure. But that’s typically reserved for Focault’s Pendulum...
You met him in person?
Alan Colmes is a coward.
Alan Colmes and the people who come on Fox to present a ‘liberal’ view in contrast to conservatives are just following their DNC marching orders. I have seen several READING their talking points. Guess those daily phone calls from the WH are followed up with faxes.
That talking over people thing the ‘liberals’ use is a dead giveaway that their positions are not thought out, backed up with facts and logic, and little more than a “Mikey did it!” or “Your Mamma” ad hominem attack. Why people think a ‘debate’ with such people is descending into the realm of trying to debate a Dodo bird.
The Alan Colmes types and the 0bots are no longer my countrymen. At all.
Kudos for trying. I have moved on to my own family’s & friends’ issues and preservation.
“I thought I broke the internet for sure.”
You break it, you buy it. Maybe it was algore shorting the Internet for a few minutes.
Or, shorting it out....
Thanks CB, and good luck to you and your family.
You weren’t shocked by his response were you? LOL
No, sorry for the wrong impression, I emailed him too.
Oh. OK, and thanks. My correspondence with you, FRiend, has been a good one. I still post, but my focus in my personal life has narrowed considerably. I don’t talk about making provision except with a very, very few people. Talking politics with minorities is fruitless, as they’re color blind. Talking conservativism is almost illegal in business settings now.
Those who are not as dogmatic as I’ve become might have a better chance at winning the day. But the conviction comes from a place that reaches way back to my childhood. Realizing the depth of attempts to indoctrinate ME has fortunately not suffered from the perils of education and culture so perverted as what we’ve seen the last 35 years or more. 1968, for example, was a watershed. There are stories from around here. So many names are now forgotten, and so many tales are almost Foxfire projects in themselves.
I do admire the conviction and strength of purpose you, Pam Geller, Spencer (jihadwatch) and Steve Emerson have in your compelling research. Thank you.
Alan Colmes is a effing liar.
On O’Reilly this week he said that Israel’s far right foreign minister “Avi” Lieberman wanted to administer a loyalty oath to Arabs and “kill” those who won’t swear loyalty to Israel.
Lieberman’s real position is to make the loyalty oath a requirement of citizenship for Arabs AND Jews.
Thanks for posting this and keep up the good work.
Also, I have something for you.
You might want to get your hands on a copy of the July 2010 issue of marie claire magazine.
On page 76 there is this:
QA: Fear Factor, an interview with Jessica Stern. (A "terrorism expert".)
On page 78, at the end of the interview, she says:
In Afghanistan, I learned, Thursdays are known as "man-loving day" -- in other words, the day when warlords rape boys. Friday prayers absolve sinners of wrongdoing. This isn't covered in the press here.
Here are some questions for you to look into, Chris:
1. Is it only "warlords" who engage in this activity?
2. Is it possible that this activity is much more wide-spread in the Islamic world and not just confined to Afghanistan.
3. What is the extent of the cover-up of this activity by the western media? How many of them know about it and are purposely keeping silent?
There is no link to this interview online but I did find these:
Maybe They'll Send A Strongly Worded Letter
Man-Love Thursdays in Afghanistan
Thanks.
PS: My wife subscribes to the magazine and pointed out this article to me.
I appreciate the kind words, hang in their my friend!
Wow, that is some statement by Colmes, and I do not blame Lieberman one bit.
Well that is sickening, but it is good that a major magazine like Marie Claire published the article.
I am going to look into it.
Have a good weekend!
