We live in an imperfect world, where reason and insanity do constant battle. Lately, insanity has had the upper hand. Last weekend Israel enforced her legal blockade of a territory (Gaza Strip) run by a government that threatens to destroy Israel and backs up that threat with rocket fire at civilians and kidnapping of soldiers across international borders. Would any rational nation allow these filthy 14th century Hamas troglodytes the means to kill them? No, and Israel is rational.
Who is not rational? Apparently the governments of Europe (especially back-sliding Turkey), the UN and the Obama Administration, are not rational. This makes war more likely every day.
A new ship of terrorist-agitators is moving toward Gaza in order to break the blockade, which is allowed under international law. America blockaded Nazi Germany in World War II and Hamas is as odious philosophically. This ship is named for an American community organizer who died protecting Palestinian terrorists from an Israel bulldozer. The ship will reach Gaza Saturday morning on her present path.
What should Israel do now? They should enforce the blockade by sinking the ship of fools. Everyone who hates Israel will react the same whether the ship is disabled, or the activists are barbecued on a spit. So, why not discourage this slow moving blockade-busting by sinking the ship and killing the activists on board?
If the Rachel Corrie is allowed to break the blockade, then Hamas will have won, as will the forces of mental illness throughout the Middle East and parts of Europe. By facing force with deadly force, at least Israel will have the advantage of instilling some semblance of fear among Euro-leftists and Islamists. This alone is a worthwhile goal in the ongoing battle between reason and her enemies...

Whenever I see her name, I’m glad the world is spared Corrie’s hatred.
She's a tiny thing at under 70 meters and less than 500 long tons. I'm assuming the Israelis use the Mk48 torpedo which would make short work of that thing. She'd sink in seconds, not minutes or hours.
Hopefully, the Israelis have learned their lesson and they won't try to board, just wait until she crosses into territorial waters and sink her. I hope they get it on film.

A mark 48? She'd not so much sink as disintegrate. A Mk 48 probably costs way more than that tub.
The Israeli subs are said to be armed with DM2A3 torpedoes (from Atlas Elektronik) they have 260 kg (573 lb) Warhead. The MK 48 warhead weighs 650 pounds (295 kg). So the German/Israeli torpedo is not quite as powerful, but I doubt you tell the difference after a hit on a ship like the the RC.
Amen! Evil only respects superior force. They will squeal and try to cast Israel and any who support her as murderers but they will respect Israel. Give in and all is lost. They never have enough until they control and you are destroyed.
