http://radioviceonline.com/ ^ | June 3, 2010 | Steve McGough

He has every right to say what he wants, but why did Paul McCartney feel the need to announce -- at a ceremony where he received the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Song -- he was happy Bush was out of the White House? You, Sir Paul, demonstrated he can have zero class at times.

He is still bitter over his ex-wife, the hooker with one leg.

Paul McCartney's Wife Lost Her Leg In A Fight With Jennifer Lopez's Bodyguards Paul McCartney's wife, Heather Mills McCartney, lost her leg in a fight with Jennifer Lopez's security guards at her New York office.
-snip-
Mills, 37, was leading the People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA) protests against the diva for using fur in her latest clothes collection, Sweetface, when she got into a fight with the security guards because she tried to enter into the building, accompanied by an entourage of journalists and photographers.

Mills lost the leg in the fray and, after she recovered it, she asked the bodyguards to let her go to the bathroom, so she could attach it back. But the guards refused her, yelling “You have no authority to be here. Get out! Leave the floor immediately!”

I'm very disappointed with Paul McCartney's gratuitous slap at our former president while he was being feted at the Obama White House. It shows a real lack of class and a pitiful attempt to suck up to Obama and the liberal Washington establishment.

With his talent, musical achievements, fame that will outlive him and an enormous fortune, this kind of ungracious slur against President George W. Bush was uncalled for. McCartney should have realized he's bigger than the failing U.S. president and the leftist media that he was trying to please.

Just another cookie-cutter show biz lefty who probably hasn't a clue as to what Obama is doing to America and wouldn't care if he did. Disgusting.

He’s obsessed - he can’t shut up. He needs a container into which he can project his fear and rage.

Like Rush, Bush lives in Leftist’s heads rent-free.

I am continually amazed by celebrities who depend on the public to buy their music, go to their movies, or watch their TV shows...and who seem to think that Republicans don’t have any money, or that their money isn’t worth anything.

I miss them, too.

George W. Bush had class.

Dick Cheney had class. Has class. Both of them.

What have you done, America?

"Stick to music, Sir Paul."

In my opinion, he should give up music, too. The music he's done since the breakup of The Beatles has ranged from mediocre (Band on the Run) to over-produced (Live and Let Die) to embarrassing (Silly Love Songs), with few exceptions (Hi Hi Hi, which I thought was a pretty good rocker).

Did Obama and the in group roar with laughter? That’s not even funny. It is just being mean to be mean. What did that have to do with anything? I thought the same thing as the rest of you when I heard his comment. I am sick of it.

Sorry. Their songs were good pop at best. No standards in the entire catalogue, and I'm including Michelle, Can't buy me love and all the other elevator music crap.
