The Dream Act: A New American Illegal Immigration Nightmare
Beforeitsnews.com ^ | June 1, 2010 | FreewillOffering

The blurring of the line between being and not being a US Citizen continues to be pushed. US Citizens should take a look at "The Dream Act". This proposed legislation offers a path to US Citizenship for Illegal Aliens under certain conditions. It appears pro illegal alien groups will soon be pushing this if a bill for wholesale illegal amnesty is not offered.

The Dream Act would give certain illegals a path to citizenship if they complete certain services and education. But the thing I find the most interesting is non-citizens serving in the US Military. How on earth can we count on loyalty from people who serve in the armed forces after they sneak into the country and are not citizens? This is the destruction of US Citizenship pure and simple.

Recently democrats are pulling the old “ We need illegals to start pay taxes to fix the deficit ” much like they claimed Obama-care would fix the deficit.

Here's MY Dream Act conditions:They get a temporarily work permit and must work five straight years in a row while legally paying the maximum federal tax rate, a.k.a. as “ The Rich are not paying their fair share ”tax rate to democrats(like Hillary recently called it) . If they fail to legally file a tax return at the required top tax rate income bye-bye.

Any illegal meeting those conditions will vote against democrats if made an American citizen.

I met several non-citizens in the US Army when I was in.

Most had joined up in their home countries. They’d joined in order to serve their time (a job) and to become US citizens. They were good troops and highly motivated.

I don’t think the services’d take an illegal ALIEN.

The "new US citizens" show why are against the Arizona law.

SO HOW COME PRESIDENT CALDERON DIDN'T SAY THAT WHEN HE TOLD CONGRESS HE WAS AGAINST THE ARIZONA LAW? And in his meetings and press conference with the President? Calderon missed another good opportunity to tell US officials why he's against the law at the lavish WH dinner.

ROTFLMCO.

I’m going to have to stick with no employment for illegals, no free health care, no free schooling, no housing subsidies, no prenatal care, no free birthing in the U.S., no instant citizenship for children born to them here...

Then we can just sit in a folding chair beside the (5) freeway and watch them return to Mexico.

Unfortunately we know they are likely to get all that stuff in the end. Too many Republicans want amnesty but want to call it a ‘fine’ and ‘conditions’.

I would love to be in congress and propose those two ideas :1) path to citizenship if they pay the top tax rates five years, 2) we bribe them to go home. But no Republican ever pitches offbeat ideas like these.

Democrats out of power always propose crazy stuff like the windfall taxes on oil to lower the price of oil for political points. But Republicans don't know how to play the game,

We could call it the " Making going home (to Mexico) pay" Act named after Obama's 'Making work pay' tax credit that he gave to people who either dont work at all or cut back their hours to qualify.

I don’t think it wise to sign on to a plan that will legalize between 20 and 35 million illegal immigrants. The chain immigration alone would swamp us.

Think 20 million illegals naturalized, and four family members each on the fast track to the U.S.

RE :"I don’t think it wise to sign on to a plan that will legalize between 20 and 35 million illegal immigrants. The chain immigration alone would swamp us"

It would be a disaster. When we do that 'background check' we can make then prove they will earn the top tax rate(before the 5 year trial) . That should narrow it down to about 500 or less.

I wouldnt mind if we legalized those that vote against socialism and for tax cuts. But that is only a few.
