Obviously here must be trillions and trillions of barrels of oil under the oceans! what if they all begin to LEAK! Even worse... OIL might be squirting up all over the place! Mr. President... you must do something!! If the oceans crack open... WHAT A MESS!

Don’t worry. Oil does leak from the bottom of the oceans. Most of the tar balls that wash up on the beaches in Texas ARE NOT from oil wells. They are from the ocean floors. Just as oil seeps up through the ground, so it does at the bottom of the oceans. However, it will not explode as it did with the Deep Horizon because it isn’t under pressure and doesn’t become exposed to air like the Deep Horizon. Besides, Nobama surely won’t protect any of us—you can count on that.
