"Are we even looking for the bad guys anymore?" - Glenn Beck
The Radio Patriot ^ | May 26, 2010 | Andrea Shea King

Posted on 05/26/2010 11:20:04 AM PDT by patriotgal1787

Glenn opened his radio show this day talking about Obama's disdain for Israel, and figuratively has the Islamic flag flying over the White House. "Aren't we even looking for the bad guys anymore?"

Glenn then moved on to the proposed 13-story Islamic mosque at Ground Zero in Manhattan where the World Trade Center towers once stood -- until they were destroyed in an attack by -- who? Islamic extremists. And though he argues that the government should NOT interfere with where a church or temple or mosque can be built -- "if you stop this, you violate the Constitution, and it only strengthens them to stop us" -- therein lies the dilemma... Joy Tiz adds to it.

It took 440 days to build the Empire State Building in 1931.

Now we still have a hole at Ground Zero, a decade after 9-11.

Instead, we'll have a "Muslim victory mosque" overlooking it.

The only bad guys are Americans. All others have justifiable reasons for what they do, usually because of something we did.

0 is looking for friends of the people who are sworn enemies of us.

It can’t help but fail and leave us weaker.

Now we still have a hole at Ground Zero, a decade after 9-11.

You know, when you think about it, that is as much an indictment of progressive America as is the mosque.

Yes it is. The American “can do” spirit seems to be a thing of the past.

Back even before computers we built projects like the Hoover Dam from start to finish in less time than this.

It would only be a violation of the Constitution if the government stopped the mosque. If the people of New York stop it, or all the building trades refuse to build it, there is no Constitutional problem.

They didn't have so much "environmental impact" crap to contend with back then.

I was watching an episode of "Sea Hunt" (Lloyd Bridges, '58 to '61")
where the job was demolition of a big ass underwater rock in Canada
that was close to the surface and had been sinking ships.

Turns out they would need tons of TNT to blast it out.

Too many dives to install all this, no time to do it.

A brief conversation on the ship concluded they needed to use nitro.

Fine, lets do it. And they did.

I was struck by the difference between that fictitious event
and the years of enviro crap that would go on today.

That was based on an actual event in Canada. ANd they did just blow the crap out of that rock with a barge load of demo.
