The driver of the car reportedly had a blood alcohol content of .25. Amazingly, the report says the lawmaker is OK. . .

If this was a pro-illegal Democrat, then we can joke about this person not being able to recognize the hazards of illegal entry into the USA even if they hit at 60mph.

Wait till its a Congress Critter slammed by a drunken illegal immigrant. Then you’ll see some hoppin’ and poppin’ to lock down the border, throw the book at offenders, and deport lawbreakers.

When told that he faces serious charges, he laughed & said he's going back to his country, Mexico. He said 'nothing is going to happen to me, man.'
The passenger in his car has life threatening injuries & is in the hospital - probably getting free medical care!!

Gads. Piker. When they have to go pure O2 and are scared to because of the explosion hazard, that's when it's too much. /s

I hope so. But I think it’ll have to be a tragedy involving an elected official inside the Beltway before the Feds really sit up and take notice.

I remember.
We’re still threatening to bus all of our illegals to the White House lawn...
It seems like it always takes something like this.
It was the murder of a very well-liked southern Arizona rancher that energized this last round of efforts. SB1070 was in the works, but Rob Krentz’s death probably sealed Gov. Brewer’s decision to sign the bill into law.

Wait till its a Congress Critter slammed by a drunken illegal immigrant. Then youll see some hoppin and poppin to lock down the border, throw the book at offenders, and deport lawbreakers. I would think they would launch a probe into the incident and would get to the bottom of it when they determined that the driver bought the beer at a store owned by a Republican.
The next day's New York Times headline would read: "Braintree Beverage pressed for detail on fatal alcohol sale."

"The driver of the car reportedly had a blood alcohol content of .25......"Hey now, that's discriminatory - it's a Mexican culture thing (one supposes also Central and South American) to drive while dead drunk, don't you know, so stop with the "blood alcohol" thing.

Isn’t it odd how drunks and lawmakers get in horrendous wrecks without being seriously injured?
