Looks like Ken Buck owes Sarah Palin an apology. Her visit to Denver this Saturday night cant possibly be spun as rude.
Rather, its serendipitous.
Discussions for renting the Magness Arena at the University of Denver began in November and the date chosen was more dependent on Palins busy schedule than on a desire to hold it on any particular date.
[...]
Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck said he thought it would be rude for Palin to steal all the media attention away from what he expects to be his taking the GOP nomination on Saturday.
It struck me as odd that Buck would say such a thing. The implication is that somehow Palin planned her visit around Bucks big day.
[...]
Buck might want to remember Reagans 11th Commandment in the future unless hes really got the goods.
Nia Nia Bender, one of the key planners for the Palin-Hewitt event... thought it could be great for the GOP to have the Palin-Hewitt event that night.
The thinking went that Republicans from all over Colorado would be in the Front Range for the assembly in Loveland. That event ends at 3 p.m.
So KNUS decided to hold the Palin-Hewitt event at 7 p.m. as sort of a GOP Doubleheader.
But, of course, now that chance at unity and excitement has been blown, as Bucks comments fuel wild rumors that Palin plans to endorse Norton at the event.
Bender says that Palin wont do that, and that Norton wont be speaking at the KNUS event.
Further, Bender is angry at the Buck camp, and hopes he will apologize for this slight at Palin and, by extension, the integrity of KNUS broadcasters, who arent seeking to endorse either candidate.

Go Sarah Go!!!
Buck is the real conservative is this race. McCain endorsed Norton. Sounds like another Palin mistake.
Buck may be a real conservative, but he’s a liar. Washington has enough of those already.
No thanks,

He lied about what specifically?
I don’t know whether Buck’s the greater conservative or not—but he manages to come across as a jerk and a whiner in this circumstance.
I’m sure the Denver Post is doing its best to help conservatives. /s
Being a conservative and an idiot doesn’t necessarily have to be mutually exclusive.
How true!
Seems like we are being invaded by Sarahbots with their carpetbags.
Read the article.

The Denver Post is progressive fishwrap.
Nia Bender, one of the key planners for the Palin-Hewitt event, tells me that work to bring Palin and Hewitt to Denver began in November, when Bender agrees no one could have known that Norton would skip the GOP Assembly in May.Bender and her 710 KNUS talk and news radio station started with seven different dates, and only two of them were in May.
Ironically (I so rarely get to use that word), as the process continued, and May 22 became an option, Bender thought it could be great for the GOP to have the Palin-Hewitt event that night.

I like Sarah Palin a lot but I don’t buy into any Cult of Personality on anyone or any group in any area of life. If I thought that mentality led to anything good I would pray to be reincarnated as an ant. Or a liberal. No, I take that back, I’d rather be an ant.
I voted for her in '08I did not vote for McShame.
I thought she what we needed.
Recently her endorsements have troubled me.
Who is she to blow into Colorado with her Carpetbags
and endorse McShame's gal Norton.
Boy did you jump the gun.
“...Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck said he thought it would be rude for Palin to steal all the media attention away from what he expects to be his taking the GOP nomination on Saturday....”
The event happens AFTER the nomination - she isn't endorsing anyone before then, though she will almost certainly endorse the Primary winners that evening.
