Is W. Europe finally going conscious of Islamo fascism?

Posted on 05/17/2010 6:25:02 PM PDT by Righting

Note, the following two sources "The Guardian" & "Crimson," are radical left-wingers, I am just quoting them for information, the report on the Euro-anti-Islamic atmosphere.

Europe Legitimizes Islamophobia
Harvard Crimson - Eli B Martin - 4 May 2010
Geert Wilders, is the current favorite to end up as prime minister in a coalition government. However, Wilders has labeled Islam “retarded” and has called to ban the Koran. These dismaying steps are part of an eruption of Islamophobia throughout Europe. [...] open vilification of Islam has become standard in many mainstream parties.
The recent Swiss referendum on the building of minarets, spires used to call Muslims to prayer, is a perfect example of how Islamophobia extends beyond a vocal minority. Recently, 57 percent of Switzerland’s population voted to ban the construction of future minarets in their country. This response seems excessive because there are currently four minarets in Switzerland and roughly five percent of the population follows Islam. The danger of the Alps’ chocolate-box villages being swept away in favor of numerous variants of the Blue Mosque looks slim. A comment by Roberto Calderoli of Italy’s anti-immigrant Northern League sums up what this vote is about, “Switzerland is sending to us a clear signal; yes to bell towers, no to minarets.” It is very much about Islam...

Muslims March, Europeans Chafe theTrumpet.com - Ron Fraser - 23 Apr 2010 ...The Netherlands is embracing politics’ brashest spokesman against Islam. In regional elections in March, far-right politician Geert Wilders scored major gains that suddenly made him the frontrunner to become the next Dutch prime minister. An election poll just days later showed that Wilders’ Freedom Party (pvv) had overtaken the party of Prime Minister Jan Peter in public popularity.
He owes his meteoric popularity to his stance against the spread of Islamic influence in his country. “[He] has called Islam a backward religion, wants a ban on headscarves in public life and has compared the Koran to Hitler’s Mein Kampf,” reported the Telegraph on March 4. It appears the Dutch are expressing their desire that Islamist impact on their society be curtailed.
The same trend is unfolding in next-door Germany. A recent incident shows how the bnd, Germany’s secret service, is doubling its efforts to track down extremist Islamist cells that for years have used that nation as a training ground, and Germany’s courts are publicizing their intent to place such miscreants behind bars.
A quartet of terrorists from a German Islamist cell was discovered in 2007 to have been plotting to blow up the Ramstein U.S. air base in Germany. This past March, the German court trying the men condemned them for seeking not only to attack Americans, but also to influence a German parliamentary vote regarding the nation’s military mission in Afghanistan. The court’s stern judgment was clearly intended to send a message to other Islamists taking refuge in Germany. It also came at an opportune time for the German military: just as certain elites are seeking to convince the public to support German troops assuming a more aggressive role in Afghanistan.

Three months ago, almost a quarter of Almere's voters backed the PVV and Wilders was being tipped as a possible prime minister in forthcoming elections on 9 June. "Today Almere and The Hague," said Wilders –"tomorrow the whole of the Netherlands. This is our springboard for success."

Give it about another 20 to 40 years. Muzzies will be running it like they’ve owned it since 622CE.

I give America about 5 years. The Eastern Europeans might still save Western Europe from Islam.

You have GOT to be kidding me!

The UK is almost a lost cause when it comes to the islamization of society! Separate muslim police? Keeping teachers from wearing a simple crucifix on the job because it would offend the muslims?

Get a grip.

I would recommend that you read a pretty good book on this subject. It is called “While Europe Slept”. It came several years ago and believe me, things have gotten WORSE since it was written.

Here is a link to an interesting interview that was done with the author back in 2006. Check it out.

You have an elite that spans the far, far left (Greens, Labour, Socialists) and reaches to the moderate left (UK Conservatives, CDU), which control virtually all outlets of opinion and power. This Elite has spent decades orchestrating the mass immigration of unassimable Muslims from around the Mediterranean. Anyone, who questioned this policy, pointed out the problems caused by the mass immigration were denounced as far right (Wilders, Le Pen, Pim Fortyn and others). Anyone would be denounced as a racist, nazi, etc., just as we are seeing in the case of Arizona.

The Elite sees no need for honest debate. They are pure and humane and everyone else is racist, mean and evil. Eventually, you get the backlash. It's happening in Europe and its happening here. Thank you Elite for creating such a horrible situation, with no good options and attempting once again to walk away from it with no fingerprints. Ain't gonna work.
