A U.S. military jury on Thursday cleared a Navy SEAL of any wrongdoing in the alleged beating of an Iraqi prisoner suspected of masterminding the grisly 2004 killings of four American contractors.
Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class, was facing three charges: dereliction of performance of duty for willfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement, and assault.

The earlier thread about DeMarino seemed to seal this verdict. Lying bastard tried to protect himself, so these SEALS were brought up on charges.
Still, there is NO excuse for our brass prosecuting these cases against our own soldiers, sailors, Marines, SEALS in a war zone. We need new leadership.
