Same thought, and how convenient for the anti oil exploration folks...
“Act of War” == no insurance payout for BP.
I have a theory. It was the Klingons working in concert with the Borg to disrupt the future of the United Federation of Planets. I'll get back to you when I have facts, you do the same.
I wish people would grow up and stop this silly nonsense, no matter which party is accused.
People responded within hours, there were 100+ survivors, and there have been at least four robots working around the site of the leak. If there was evidence of anything out the ordinary don’t you think it would have been found by now?

Oh for Pete’s sake, it was JUST a blowout, something that happens when you’re exploring for oil or any natural resource. Yes, the system is designed to handle some impact, but you’re talking about something that exceeded the pressure of a nearly five mile tall water column. I don’t care how fantastic your fail safes are, but if you tap into a pocket of hydrocarbons with that much pressure pushing back, you’re going to get a blow out.
This sounds fishy...
I really don’t like it when a government official talks about keeping his boot on someone’s or somethiing’s neck.
Bet when the truth comes out, it will be that the well pressure exceeded the capacity of either the blow out preventer, or another major component.
I understand congress has already demanded documents and future testimony from Hallibuton, who worked on this well.
Just because their submarine took out dykes in New Orleans doesn’t mean they took out this rig.
Everyone remembers Columbine.
Not many remember that Columbine happened on the eve of what was supposed to be a bill signing turning back decades of gun control here in Colorado.
I thought that day that Columbine was designed to kill that bill.
I think something similar happened here.

I would like to see the hazard survey that was done before the drilling started.
Not sure what that entails but I read some where that BP got the lease from Shell. Supposedly Shell let it go because of volitile subsurface pressures. I have no idea if that is speculation or has some truth to it.
enviro groups = OPEC
There will be no more drilling until the cause of the explosion is determined. What a stupid thing to say with 11 missing, and oil spilling out. Bill Nelson and Odumbo, whats that Easter song? Hopping down the "money" trail.
