Pastor Stephen Broden said the opening pray at the Winning America Back event in Independence, Missouri. He's the Republican candidate for Congress in Texas' 30th District. I was able to tag along with Jim Hoft and asked him about Michael Steele's assertion that black Americans didn't have a reason to vote for Republicans.
His answer - epic:

Pastor Broden is facing off against socialist Eddie Bernice Johnson. You can donate to his campaign here. Jim Hoft's post on the answer is here.
Michael Steele needs to follow Charlie Crist. Does he have a portrait we can sell on Ebay?
Steele is not merely wrong.
He is a sleeper, a sabateur.
He is the October surprise hidden in plain sight.
The grand finale to Dede Scozzafava’s opening act.
I would vote for a turtle if it was running against Eddie Berniece Johnson. She has always been a racist in the mode of Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton. She demeans and embarasses the majority of citizens of Dallas with her racial rants, but keeps being elected by her peeps.
It shows how uninformed were so many “conservatives” who actually thought that Steele would stand up to the Democrats. The last MD Republican to stand up to the Democrats was Spiro T. Agnew, and he ultimately self-destructed too. Picking someone because of his color, instead of his mettle, has been disastrous.
It’s hard to believe that in 1962 Dallas was the Republican stronghold of TX — didn’t last too long. People there really believe in government solutions now.
