No, but given that she was a US citizen, he was eligible for naturalized citizenship. Hence there was no motive for her to fraudulantly register his birth in the US if he really were born overseas.

Most on this forum simply believe that Obamas NBC status was never adequately investigated despite reasonable doubt. I dont think that this opinion should be ridiculed.
I disagree. That which is worthy of ridicule should be ridiculed.
While I dont believe that anything to do with NBC status is going to happen to unseat Obama prior to 2012, I DO believe that the issue MAY keep Obama from running again.
I am afraid you will be sorely dissapointed.
As such, I would like to keep the unfounded claims (such as the one about Obamas mother NOT being a US citizen) in check.
The entire birther case rests on a bunch of unfounded claims that have little more basis in fact than this one.
