Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has been named "Among the Best Governors' in the nation by a conservative American "think tank." ConservativeAmerican.org bestowed the honor on Jindal today for his leadership and conservative principles.
The naming of Jindal to the list comes in the wake of a liberal "watch-dog" group claiming Jindal is among the nation's worst governors. Citizens for Progressive Responsibility and Liberal Ethics in Washington said Jindal had, "Refused to accept federal stimulus funds to expand unemployment insurance and to fund other important programs." They say that is one reason they gave him the dishonor of being on their list. Ironically, they cite that reason the same day the Heritage Foundation releases a report saying 73% of economists say that so-called "stimulus" did NOTHING AT ALL to create jobs!!!
"A spokesman for Jindal questioned the basis for the (liberal group's poor) rating.
"It appears the folks who put this together aren't paying attention," Kyle Plotkin said. "The Associated Press just announced Louisiana ranks first in the nation for economic improvements from January to February,..."

Jindal is a brilliant man and a good administrator. My concern is whether or not he has the courage to be a conservative President. It’s easy being a liberal President. The media will back you no matter how bad you are (e.g. Barack Obama). It’s 180 degrees different for conservatives.
Watch out for fiscal-con Christie in NJ as well.
I’m sure that Jindal is a great governor. My question is why he has not spoken publicly about the heinous attack on his chief fundrais — that I know about, that is. Is there a reason he has not made a statement?
I’m not convinced - in two word: “Prove It”
He drank the McCain Kool Aid.
His wife is hot.
I smell another McLame nosedive from the "establishment".
I believe he said he didn't want to interfere with the ongoing police investigation. I think that's a fair answer. I like Jindal a lot. I just wish he would have spoken up more during the Healthcare debate. Healthcare administration is his area of expertise and he was strangely silent. He's too nice, he needs to learn how to play hardball if he has any higher aspirations.
I agree. I think Christie and Jindal are the best governors in the country right now. McDonnell in VA and Brewer in AZ are doing pretty darn good too - although I'll support Joe Arpaio if he decides to primary Brewer.
Actually, the Democrats in Louisiana posted pictures of Bobby Jindal, in which they'd darkened his skin, when he was running in the election prior to when he was finally elected. They were hoping that white voters of Louisiana wouldn't vote for him, because they thought he was black.
And the Democrats claim that Republicans are the racists.
Why would you say something like that when he was born in LA?
“Why would you say something like that when he was born in LA?”
Neither of his parents were US citizens at the time of his birth and according to some Birthers, one must have US parent citizens and be born in the US in order to be a natural born citizen.
He's been in campaign mode, or worse, ever since.
Check out thedeadpelican or listen to Moon in the morning to "discover" whut the ENEMEDIA has been hiding from you.
So dawgs, if Adolph Hitler came to America, knocked up an underage girl, took the baby back to Germany and raised it as a good Nazi, would the offspring of Hitler be eligible?
Eligible but not electable.
Is he really doing a great job?
Divorcee Senator Julie Quinn is running amok in her quest to hurt men.
Well, okay, she is probably only seeking to hurt her ex, but in her quest to get him, she is seeking to pass a lot of bad laws that are hurting a lot of children and men.
Two years ago it was SB543...
“No substantive changes” she said...
Well hidden in her package was a request to obtain a 60 day mandatory court delay after her perfumed posterior sat in any out of session meeting.
60 DAYS !!!
All she had to do was score one out of session meeting every two months and she never had to go to court for the balance of her time in office.
NEVER.
Neither would any of her clients.
And all the other legislators would get the same benefit.
No other state allows more than the day before and the day after a meeting as exemptions.
Louisiana’s preexisting law only granted a legislator a ‘reasonable delay’.
Hey, I have a great idea, lets put a legislature in charge of family law that has a bitter, ongoing divorce and custody battle. One that has in just a few short years run up 15 volumes of case record. And that is 250 pages per volume. And that is a court battle that has continued and continued and continued.
She had her ex in jail for three weeks for non-payment of child support for three weeks in September.
The judge was removed from the bench and has surrendered her law license - not for any misconduct in this case, but for misconduct in a case years earlier.
So what is the divorcee seeking now?
SB475 is seeking to jail any parent who is a day late or a dollar short in their child support order.
Current law requires $5,000 to be owed or the parent be a year late. They, meaning the Senate, have erased those two requirements, so now the only requirement is ‘intentional non-payment’.
The Senate committee and the full Senate must have spent all of five minutes considering this draconian change to the existing felony law.
Did they catch her scams? Not yet.
She eliminated the $500 maximum fine and replaced it with a 5% (first offense) minimum fine. A fine which is paid to the victim on top of any child support order. A fine for which there WAS NO MAXIMUM SET !!!
After taking a lot of heat for a week, she made a few token amendments to the law.
However, it is still a very bad law.
The state cannot afford this nonsense.
They're wrong about that. Jindal is a natural born citizen, because he was born here. That's to distinguish him from a "naturalized" citizen that was born under some other jurisdiction and was naturalized as a U.S. citizen later. That bidness about two citizen parents just isn't actually true.
You are correct.
