I was honestly speechless when I first saw Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) show his concern for the potential capsizing of the island of Guam a few weeks ago. Several readers informed me of his medical condition that may or may not have caused this man to become a crusader against island tipping. I found it amusing when Johnsons office tried to explain away his delusional behavior by saying he was speaking metaphorically or was it figuratively?
But now, proving that a great joke never dies, Hank Johnson has reportedly received the endorsement of President Barack Obama in the Congressmans primary race against any potential Democratic challengers.
As Jim Galloway reported in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Thursday:
The ever-courteous Hank Johnson has given those Democrats who want his DeKalb County seat in Congress a long weekend to think things over, plus this press release:
WASHINGTON President Barack Obama announced Thursday his endorsement of Congressman Hank Johnson, who represents Georgias Fourth Congressional District.
Congressman Johnson has done an outstanding job, said President Obama. Together, we are fighting to renew our economy. Together, we passed historic health care reform. I am proud to stand with Hank and support his re-election.
Im no longer stunned into silence by this administration or its desire to keep men such as Johnson in power. At a time when the Democrats should be giving Johnson the opportunity to gracefully step down, Barack Obama is encouraging his continuance in office. Of course, maybe this isnt such a bad thing. Who knows when Johnson may provide us all with more comedy gold?

Keep talking BO/BS! You’re the best spokesperson for Conservatism!
What a ridiculous headling. What would be amazing would be if he DIDN’T support this moonbat.
Why wouldn’t he support him? To a liberal, it’s his vote, not his mind that matters. This guy is a brain-dead rubber stamp, (from the DemocRat prospective) would that Obama had 534 more like him in Congress.
I thought this guy’s strange comments were an april fool’s joke. I think his cÓmments were on 4/1, but I could be oFf by a couple days
The left started floating the lie that it was an April's Fool joke as damage control.
Hank Johnson is still an improvement over who he replaced (Cynthia McKinney). Of course it shows the level of intellegence in his district that they would vote either one of these loons in. All you need to do in that district is say a couple lines about jews and whitey and you are IN!
You are right of Course . He is an improvement over McKinney.
Judging from she and now Hank Johnson, I would say that the voters of that district are about as bright as McKinney and Johnson. Held back from knowledge and Literacy of course by “The Man”.
I’m surprised that Obama didn’t make him head of NASA.
He is not a muzzie... so no NASA for him.
LLS
One thinks we’ve already been to Mars and the other one thinks Guam will turn over. What is the improvement?
Its not about the content of his character, its about the color of his skin.
At least Hank is sucking up to muslims for cash. That’s a minor, but slight improvement.
Obama is just showing his support for someone who is worried about one of the 57 states.
Another “Copenhagen Trophy”!
Well, it seems to get O-pproval the criteria is a)a criminal; b)a deviant or c)just plain stupid. Looks like “c” in this case.
You are thinking of Sheila Lee Jackson of Texas not Cynthia McKinney.
Superficially they might seem pretty much the same. Both are race-pimps and die hard socialists. But I do think there is a difference. Sheila Lee Jackson is relatively sane but she is as dumb as a box of Moon rocks. McKinney probably isn't extraordinarily stupid but she is as crazy as an outhouse rat.
Admittedly a difference with no effect on the bottom line. Neither one is fit to oversee the inventory of a broom closet.
Your imagery is funny.
But I must insist it’s accurate! lol
