They have to characterize the Tea Party movement as racist, in fact they have to characterize any opposition to the Democratic party as racist, because they know that anything less than overwhelming black support for their party would spell disaster for the Dems.

The liberal media is losing it’s grip, albeit slowly. Last year, there was hardly any coverage, especialy positive, of the tea party members. That is changing, we ARE the new mainstream (actually, we’ve always BEEN the mainstream.) Whether the liberal media chooses to remain ignorant, that is their problem, Americans are waking up.

Exactly... Not about race, never has been, never will be. We conservatives were anti Socialist Democrat when Billy Bob Jimmy Carter was president, when W.C. Fields Clinton was president and when both Awe Shucks Bushes were presidents. We are no less and no more anti Socialist Democrat now that we have a Half Black (All Black for street cred purposes) Half White president, Narcissist in Chief Zer0bama. Lloyd, I wish you would have answered her that way. The only way to get these liberal/leftist/progressives out of their comfort zone is to confront them, tear down their template and force them to step back and think for a minute. Polite answers to their outrageous bigotry-based questions ain't gonna do it.

I feel your frustration, Lloyd! Every time I see some pinhead on MSNBC or CNN make their predictable "the Tea Parties are racist" commentary, I want to throw my shoe through the TV! I got to see you twice - first when the last TPE came though Albuquerque and more recently when the wife and I drove 8 hours to see the TPE kickoff in Searchlight! (Where a CNN reported said there were "dozens" of people gathered).

Lloyd there is a saying, a picture is worth a thousand words,
and before the democrats have time to totally whitewash history, they should be put to use.

Pictures of angry mobs lynching a Black man, pictures of Blacks being “controlled” with the use of high pressure fire hoses, snarling, biting dogs. Pictures of a National Guard Unit providing security for a Black child to enter a School house, pictures of a Governor blocking the school doors, pictures of those that opposed the Civil Rights Act and others that can still be found.

What is the one unifying factor in all those pictures?
The Democratic Party! Maybe they can be used to challenge the current mindset of those that have not lived the history.
