Coulter used facts in her answers, not generalities. I agree Mark Levin is brilliant, but anyone who does an honest evaluation of Sarah Palin would realize she is not an intellectual. She has charisma, and a folksy charm, but to me that is not nearly enough.
As for running rings around me, I would agree Levin certainly would. However, I would be willing to sit down with Sarah Palin and debate a diverse range of issues, from Obamacare, to energy policy, to AGW, to foreign policy. Levin would intimidate me if I had to go head to head against him, Palin would not. And that fact is precisely what would cause me to have a very hard time supporting her. She is eye candy, and the camera likes her. She reminds me of a female John Edwards, trying to be the common man, speaking in generalities, and lacking substance.
“She reminds me of a female John Edwards”
That is down right insulting. Oh by the way did you hear Sarah talk about energy policy when she was at SRLC. Half of Sarah speech was on policy.
“Sarah Palin .... is not an intellectual.”
Neither is Romney, Obama, Bush or any othe GOP contenders of whom I am aware.
Neither, my friend, was Ronald Reagan an intellectual. This country’s last intellectual as President was Woodrow Wilson, a collossal failure.
“I would be willing to sit down with Sarah Palin and debate a diverse range of issues, from Obamacare, to energy policy, to AGW, to foreign policy. Levin would intimidate me if I had to go head to head against him, Palin would not.”
How difficult do you think those issues are to grasp? It is not quantum mechanics, I can assure you. As far as not being intimidated by Palin, you have been reading the New York Times too much. Did you watch the debate with Plugs Biden? She pulveized him.
I am so tired of these canards aimed at Sarah Palin’s intellect. The same things were said about Reagan by the snooty eastern Establishment.
It is a given that all liberals declare themselves to be itellectually superior to the rest of us. And now we have
Freepers doing the same thing. Sarah did pretty damned well as a mayor and as a governor. If you read her book, she also took advice from people around her. Reagen had an excellent group of people around him. If Sarah ran and won, I would expect her to choose the right people to help her. Your self-proclaimed “inellectual superiority” may impress you, but it doesn’t impress me.
“Sarah Palin... is not an intellectual.”
__________
And thank God for that!
Intellectuals have made a quasi-socialist mess out of this once-proud nation.
It’s long past time for a return to Reagan-style common sense conservatism.

"Not an intellectual..." just wondering, is that supposed to be a criticism?
It rings a familiar tone, one I remember from the '70s...who was it the "intellectuals" were talking about?
You familiar with the phrase, "good old boy?"
Although I would like to see Palin with a little more experience, you underestimate her. I’ve read Palin’s discussion of Alaska’s energy policies while she was governor. It’s not easy stuff to understand. Yes, at some point, if she wants to be seen as a serious candidate, she’ll have to come out with a policy plan that will have to go beyond bromides and get down to specifics. But from what I’ve heard from her, she seems to understand what needs to be done of the domestic front. A little more experience on foreign affairs, and she’ll be there.
Lots of people on this forum seem to want this individual as their next president...
