The Palin-Haters Are Out In Full Force
TheCypressTimes.com ^ | 04/14/2010 | John G. Winder

Once the press came up with number and everyone on the left shouted “Harumph,” they began writing nasty stories about her earnings. She’s only in it for the money-kind of stuff. One such article even said that Palin risks losing “Joe Six-Pack” as her supporter because of her success.

Sorry, but Joe Six-Pack is not the scumbag, white-trash ne'er do-well the left thinks he/she to be. Joe Six-Pack is a hard-working tax payer who doesn’t begrudge anyone making an honest living. Joe Six-Pack doesn’t believe in punishing success; he believes it to be the proper reward for hard work.

If you want to look for resentment of Palin’s success, look no further than those on the left. In light of absolutely everyone on the right being labeled "Joe Six-Pack" lets call you on the left Leslie Tofu-Breath. Yeah, you Leslie...you’re the ones who hate success and really, really hate Sarah Palin.

First you told us Sarah Palin was too stupid to accomplish anything. “Joke,” “Idiot,” and “Moron” were the words you used to exemplify your hallmark of tolerance as a party and an ideology.

Then, when Sarah Palin stepped out into the private world and in just one year became a phenomenon of success and admiration, you began attacking her for being successful. So which is it? Is she too dumb to tie her own shoes, or is she now too successful to be popular with poor old Joe Six-Pack.

The left is a vile hate machine.

I don’t hate Sarah. In fact, I think very highly of her.

If Sarah is the one that can help us move hussein out of the White House, I am all for it. I am just not convinced that she’s the one that can do it yet.

I agree with Sarah on most everything. The media has been trying to destroy her for a long time but she’s still standing. I would love to see her in the White House but I am not yet convinced that she’s our best chance to displace hussein.

What I want more than anything is for the hussein family to move out of the White House. Anything would be better than that socialist pig.

The best evidence of her qualifications, to me, is the left’s seeting hatred of her. :)

LOL. Yes, as evidenced by her estimated "$12 Million haul" since July 2009, that ABC News decried in an article yesterday.

She can’t do it. She can greatly help whomever will emerge as the nominee kind of like a kingmaker.

McConnel, McCain, Burr, Graham, Cornyn and Steele are just a few names that come to mind.

Has there ever been such a concerted attack against a private citizen as has been directed at Sarah?

Have no doubt that this is being directed by the White House.

“I Have no doubt that this is being directed by the White House.”

True, but add Paulots to the list. They have launched a coordinated effort recently to do the same. They had a thread going here yesterday that had to be pulled.

I was in Target today, picking up a few things on sale.

I thought I might get a Mom’s Day card. So I looked around, and found a cute kitty cat card, mom loves those, and was about to leave... I spotted a Palin card with a great photo on the cover. Hmmm, I said, is this going to be a “good” Sarah Palin card or an insulting Palin card?

It was a huge slam on Sarah Palin, something along the lines on how Palin being President is not as scary as this card.

Attack on a private citizen, with no holds on decency.

"Have no doubt that this is being directed by the White House"

If there's ANYONE in the world that takes Sarah Palin very, very seriously, it's the White House.

She's the best retail politician on the planet right now, she's out to discredit them, and they know it.

“She can’t do it.”

Huh! What makes you so sure of that?
For months, now, Palin’s demise has been foretold in ominous tones. But Sarah Palin is still here and more popular than ever. And she’s going to be around.

And she can run in 2012 if she wants to. And she will get the nomination if she beats everyone else running. And that is entirely possible.

You can’t win an election with negatives that high and the entire media establishment sniping at you. Endless questions about all those trumped up ethics cases, her resigning and working for FOX, and a host of other issues would make her a hard sell for moderates. She is great where she is (and probably needs to move into RNC leadership and clean house) but I don’t think she can capture the white house. Then again 2 years is an eternity in politics. In 2006 everyone was gearing up to fight Hillary in the wake of losing Congresss remember?

And you don't think the media would go after with just as much vigor with whoever filled the void she left? Come on. Pick your favorite candidate and assuming he wins the nomination, they will do to him what they did with Palin. If you are only going to choose people teh media will play friendly with, I would really worry about that candidate.

Then again 2 years is an eternity in politics.

6 months is an eternity in politics. Ronald Reagan was behind double digits nationally to GHW Bush 8 months before the Nov. '80 election. He was 25 points behind that miserable wretch Jimmy Carter 5 months before the election, despite Carter's 3 1/2 years of failure. 10 days prior to the elections, he and Carter were dead even, but Americans were by then listening closely. He closed the deal. His supporters never waivered.

Republicans need to realize the all-out war we're in and as Sarah Palin says, "buck up or stay in the truck". The media will not play nice with any candidate that can beat Obama, and they're screaming every day who they fear most.
