Well, as much as I hate giving up cheap lawn, construction, janitorial, nanny and house cleaning labor, and knowing I’ll have to do everything myself or nag my kids into doing it, or compensate service providers for taxes,union dues, I think maybe the time has come. Obama’s right: we’ve had it too easy and exploited them for too long.
It’s time we think about the needs of Mexico, which has suffered a 20 year brain-drain across the border. It takes hard-working, enterprising citizens to reclaim and rebuild a society.
Their need is greater than ours.

How many of them would vote for a conservative anyway? The hispanics I grew up with would, since they were in the US long before the anglos were (Spanish land grants) but I doubt their numbers will make much of a difference.
