How many times did McCain tell us in 2008 he was gonna run a respectful campaign against Obama? Well that was against a Democrat, when it's a Republican he's running against, all bets are off, this ad has Hayworth as the birther, in addition to 'one of America's dumbest Congressman' and even has J.D. proposing to a horse...Real classy John...

JD should come back quickly, pointing out that McCain is trying to distract from the issues he and his constituents disagree on by basing a silly add on JD supporting traditional marriage, not being a favorite of a liberal rag, and suggesting that Obama ought to simply make his BC available.

And that is EXACTLY the response Hayworth should make... Why did McCain run such a spineless “respectful” campaign against the most radical, leftist, America hating presidential candidate/president in our nations history, yet be pleased to attack and belittle another republican??? Why is McCain so SOFT on the left, yet so willing to betray the right and the American people??!

McCain - gove me my money back you POS. I only sent it in 2008 to stop Hussein and you saved it for later cause you took a dive for Soros.

McCain is a despicable person.

I think that Hayworth should contrast McCain’s handling of Obama to his nasty, dirty, juvenile campaign against himself and ask what that says about McCain’s values.

The dumb butt McCain ad won’t win him anything in a Republican primary.

That ad by “Friends of John McCain” is dispicable.

JD needs to get a group together called Friends of JD and have them run a counter ad showing just who the real friends of John McLame are ;

Teddy Kennedy
Russ Feingold
Barack Obama
New York Times
ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN
Soros
etc.

I’d recommend JD find busines and civic leaders, big employers in AZ and people with big local name recognition and likability to stand up for him against the McLame camp.

This is McCain’s flip side. RINO on one side, bitter and mean on the other.

I can’t blame Republicans in office for not taking sides in this one, because if McCain’s wife can buy him back into office, McCain will spend most of his time seeking revenge on those that supported J.D.

The sad part is that McCain has probably long thought of himself as being like Barry Goldwater. But Goldwater would never compromise his principles, and was more stubborn than the rest of the Beltway combined. He was never mean, because though he might lose a fight, he never lost his honor.

I am not necessarily an supporter of Hayworth, but this ad is really lame.

According to the ad, some guy named Grant Woods said, “Someone needs to drive a stake through J.D.’s heart.” Hayworth responded, “This cavalier death threat that he issued is over the top.” So Hayworth took what was meant to be methatphorical language as a literal death threat. (Similar to how idiot liberals tried to say that Sarah Palin speaking of “targeting” Democratic congressman was encouraging violence.) Fine, Hayworth should probably be criticized for his clueless over-reaction. But how do you go from that to making a statement that Hayworth believes “Dracula is real”?? That is completely unfair.

This commercial was made by a bunch of hack political consultants who want to make sure they keep getting invites to liberal cocktail parties. I’m not surprised that such people would be hired by John McCain.

“How many times did McCain tell us in 2008 he was gonna run a respectful campaign against Obama? Well that was against a Democrat, when it’s a Republican he’s running against, all bets are off,”

[snip] After McCain effectively clinched the Republican nomination, he called on his party to run a respectful, above-the-fray campaign.

But the ad, conceived by North Carolina Republicans, appears to defy that call.

“For 20 years, Barack Obama sat in his pew listening to his pastor,” the TV ad says.

The ad then airs comments from Obama’s pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who says: “And then wants us to sing ‘God Bless America?’ No, no, no. Not ‘God Bless America,’ God [expletive] America.”

McCain’s campaign released an e-mail he sent North Carolina GOP Chairwoman Linda Daves that asked her not to run the ad.

“In the strongest terms, I implore you to not run this advertisement,” he wrote. “This ad does not live up to the very high standards we should hold ourselves to in this campaign.”

North Carolina Republicans refused to pull the ad.

“yet be pleased to attack and belittle another republican??? Why is McCain so SOFT on the left, yet so willing to betray the right and the American people??!”

He was perfectly willing to trash Bush.

[snip] Sen. John McCain blasted the Bush administration and all levels of government Thursday for the failed response to Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

“We know we didn’t have the right kind of leadership ... where government agencies were getting information from watching cable television rather than have a flow of information,” McCain said during an event at Xavier University in New Orleans.

“It was not only a perfect storm as far as its physical impact ... it was a perfect storm as far as the federal, state and local governments’ inability.”

“Never again will there be a mismanaged natural disaster,” he said, later assuring the crowd that “it will never happen again in this country; you have my commitment and my promise.” Video Watch a report on McCain’s tour and criticism »

McCain cited numerous mistakes made by Bush, including his initial decision to fly over the area soon after the storm rather than stop for a visit.
